I Macc de le Ure In Brescia

Excellent experience, delicious typical dishes, welcoming environment and impeccable service.

Tried it for lunch on Easter Monday Menu with various traditional Brescian dishes. Kind and punctual service. Good food and well executed dishes. It's certainly not exactly cheap, but for the location, facing Brescia Cathedral, I'd say they're more than acceptable.

Un ristorante in pieno centro a Brescia, dal nome strettamente locale e dove è possibile gustare la corrispondente cucina. L'arredo è gradevole, il servizio cortese. Abbiamo così assaggiato i tortelli al "Bagoss", una zuppa di legumi, il manzo all'olio, la torta bresciana, piatti tradizionali sicuramente soddisfacenti. La cucina è quindi discreta, il giudizio complessivo è comunque positivo e permette di consigliare il locale.

Proprio di fronte all'imponente facciata del Duomo nuovo si apre questo locale d'angolo, che ha pure un piccolo dehor esterno con bella vista sulla piazza. Interno familiare e caldo con affreschi liberty, quadri e foto d'epoca, tavoli comodi e ben distanziati. Servizio gentile e pronto. La titolare non manca di fare un giro fra i tavoli per sentire commenti ed impressioni... Scegliamo dei casoncelli al burro e salvia, che vengono portati in tempi brevi, buoni e in giusta porzione. Poi tre dolcetti diversi: torta bresciana con marsala, crema catalana con caramello salato e tiramisù su. Con acqua e un solo caffè spendiamo 28 euro a testa. Prezzo onesto per un locale tipico e molto centrale. Una nota particolare meritano i servizi, situati al fondo di una scalinata non lunga ma un po' ardita: moderni e puliti si distinguono per la bella specchiera con grande cornice retro' e altri quadri e foto dei tempi andati. Un posto che mi sento di consigliare!

Typical and good food. Simple environment. What stands out is the kindness of the owner and the waiters, certainly out of the ordinary.

I was there today and had a delicious meal! The atmosphere is very cozy, the staff is very attentive.

I went there for the company dinner and I had a good time

Location: very nice exterior overlooking the cathedral, interior a little less so, you should focus more on the ancient. Menu: we tasted a €15 cheese starter (too expensive for the actual quantity), braised beef in oil (very tasty but a note should be made on the price as it was not indicated anywhere as it is off the menu) and braised of classic beef (not very tasty). Bill: two of us paid €64.50 taking the things listed plus 1 bottle of water and a quarter of wine, (in my opinion a little high). Lastly, the service was a little slow but courteous.
