Great experience. Great sendviches. Best bread what I ever eat, maybe too much salami inside and that destroy good balance. Too much people, we wait almost 1 hour. Big recomadation!

An experience worth the wait. The queue took us 40 minutes, but it was worth it, honestly.

Delicious sandwiches—definitely worth the wait! I arrived about 30 minutes before closing and only had to wait around 20 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all. I wanted to try both the Porchetta and Finocchiona, so I ordered a small #1 and a small #3. Both were tasty, but the #3 was my favorite—I’m a bigger fan of salami. The small size was plenty; I even had leftovers. I enjoyed them by the bridge while watching the sunset, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend grabbing your sandwich a bit before closing to avoid long lines and to enjoy it with a view! Pro tip: Decide what you want while waiting in line (menus are posted), and if you plan to eat in the piazza or somewhere other than the alley, ask for a bag at the counter—it makes things easier!

I visited Florence in June and July. It was the best food I had in Florence, so much so that I ate it both times. I think I waited a little over 20 minutes, but if you just buy a can of beer and go, it's romantic and becomes a memory. ㅋㅋㅋ I ate it once, and the combination of ham, arugula, and spicy sun-dried tomatoes was the best!!

We came here twice during our 4 days stay in Florence. The sandwiches were so good. We really like the bread that they use for the sandwiches. It is called schiacciate. They were very accommodating. I don’t like to eat meat so I asked to have the sun-dried tomatoes, arugula & olive oil only. They were happy to modify my sandwich. Highly recommend tho solace if you want a quick lunch or dinner.

Take away and queue was long but the food worth the wait

The Golosa was crispy yet soft and delicious with so much flavor. Went around lunch time and was in and out in a few minutes. I would definitely eat here again to try the other options.

This had to be the best sandwich I have eaten in a decade or more. I have difficulty even thinking of one to compare it with. Even though there was a queue, it didn’t take long to get our order. A short walk from most anywhere in Florence, make the time, take a walk, stop by and get one to go. It will be worth it. This was the only place in all of our tour of Italy we arranged to eat at more than once and it was worth it.
