More than 3 years later, I still dream of this place. My husband and I stumbled on this place during our honeymoon. The porchetta sandwich with truffle cream was out of this world. Super cute place, super homey. I dream of going back!

Good sandwiches for both those who love cold cuts and those who, like me, prefer vegetarian options. For me, the best sandwich was the one with artichokes and the one with truffle, both very good, a nice discovery in the heart of Florence.

The sandwiches were the best I had compared to other similar shops. The bread was baked perfectly. A group of 3 of us sat inside to eat, it was crowded but what we expected and we had a great time.

Fabulous little sandwich shop in the middle of Florence .. the food was prepared with love and artisan passion and the team members clearly care about the quality of what you eat. You can sometimes be nervous in a big tourist city that you’ll get overcharged for rubbish but this is not like that. Really delicious and thoroughly recommended

The Schiacciates are exceptional; however, it's very crowded and there are long waits, making it difficult to choose... it's best to translate the menu beforehand.

Perhaps the best sandwich I've had in Florence!! Crispy bread, rich filling and fresh vegetables… the kids who work, even though they're running around in a panic all day, serve you with a smile and appetite! There's usually a line, but from what I've seen, it moves quickly! I went in the afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. The shop is rustic and beautiful… slightly cheaper in terms of prices than other "famous" sandwich shops…

04/11/2025: Had an excellent meal with a group. The service was superb with the manager being incredibly hospitable and welcoming. She made sure we were looked after while we were waiting for a late arrival. The food itself with superb, the arancini special antipasto and rabbit secondi were exceptional. All of the group agreed that this was the best restaurant we'd eaten at during our many visits to Certaldo.
17/10/2025: Went to the food fair last week, but preferred to have a real decent dinner - and dropped in there. Food was fine, wine list is extensive, service was nice - especially the padrone, who had time for a nice chat, recommendations - and even brought me my forgotten basecap even to the train! I definitely recommend this venue.

16/12/2025: Being from South Africa and knowing sister estate Babylonstoren very well, we wanted to visit Vignamaggio in Italy. Stunning estate in the heart of Greve in Chianti. It's a beautiful space with photobook views. Had a lovely brunch and did a workshop. Nice shops too. It seems there's still quite a bit of development taking place and vegetable gardens being laid out. Can't wait to see how it unfolds.
01/12/2025: RESTAURANT: Small selection of dishes, but all unique and delicious. Very well-kept and welcoming location. Very comfortable atmosphere and excellent service.
