Let's start with the most important thing: their sandwiches are excellent and the fillings are the best we could try in Florence. The downside is that at lunch time it is really packed with people. Once they take your order, it is prepared quickly, but the wait to enter the store can be long. And the place is small inside so there is a good chance that you won't be able to eat there. I recommend going closer to closing time to sit more quietly and better enjoy the experience.

During my fall semester abroad in Florence, this sandwich shop quickly became one of my all-time favorite spots for a quick lunch or light dinner. It's conveniently located in the heart of the city, offering a wide variety of sandwich combinations. The owner is incredibly kind and helped me create my perfect sandwich, which became my go-to—Number 1, with the addition of creamy cheese. Another personal favorite was Number 2, featuring prosciutto, basil glaze, walnuts, and fresh greens. The bread is always perfectly crisp and fresh, and each sandwich is made to order, ensuring an unforgettable bite every time. What stood out most was how affordable this spot was, especially compared to other places in Florence. I highly recommend it—it's an underrated gem that deserves to be tried by anyone visiting the city!

Hands down the best thing we ate in Italy. We stumbled in mid afternoon and had the best experience. Tried the other hyped up sandwiches in Florence and they didn’t even come close. We loved it so much, went back a second time and were given the 5 star treatment. Get the La Rossa sandwich. One of the guys also gave us extra little bites of delicious snacks. DO NOT MISS this place! Worth the wait in line during peak lunch hours.

The ceiling of Italian sandwiches! The absolute best panini sandwich I've ever had! The bread is crispy and delicious, served warm; the meat is tender and flavorful, the sauce is refreshing and sweet, absolutely no disappointments. The bread-making process is very meticulous, and compared to another place I tried last time, where the bread was too hard, this one is much better. Additionally, the cultural atmosphere in the shop is amazing, with great music, a very unique slogan, and a cool wall of banknotes.

Good dunk! Super lucky to have found a place in the upper room and to be able to eat calmly while sitting down! The girl who took orders at the register was super cute!

Absolutely delicious sandwiches made on fresh focaccia romana right in front of you. There are around 20 sandwich options, or make up your own. They alsooffer beer, wine, soft drinks, water & aperol spritz. You order at the counter, pay, & wait for your sandwich to be made. You can then take it out or walk up a steep flight of stairs to a very small & charming seating area.
