First time at Korean restaurant, great atmosphere, food, and service. I'll be back.

We went to the restaurant with friends. The food was excellent, a wonderful opportunity to try typical Korean dishes. Good value for money, and the staff was very helpful.
Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

Excellent restaurant, well-prepared food, and generous portions.
If you're going in a group or as a couple, order a few courses and share them. Don't let your hunger get the better of you, or you won't finish anything.
After you order your dish, the waiters explain how to eat it according to Korean customs and how to pair it.
Definitely worth trying again!
Parking is difficult if you reserve for a specific time, so leave early.

Passing through Rome, we thought we'd try typical Roman and Lazio cuisine, but our friends suggested this ethnic (Korean) restaurant, which we haven't tried in the big cities... let's give it a try.
The cuisine has to be palatable; many dishes are spicy.
The assessment is subjective.
Objectively, the portions are adequate, the prices aren't too high, and the dishes seem well-made. This is supported by the fact that many tables are occupied by Koreans.
The staff is large and young, a bit confused but efficient.
The interior is a bit cold, not particularly welcoming, the neon lights don't help; it's better to eat outside. The soundproofing could be improved. Our dining room wasn't very crowded, but the chatter from other tables could be heard loudly.
There are several blue-lined parking spaces in the surrounding streets, but it's difficult to find free spots during meal times; moreover, two streets are restricted traffic zones.
We had a stroller for a newborn, to access the interior there are steps to overcome the negative difference in height of the internal floor.

Not sure why we were told that table bbq wasn't "recommended" as we came specifically for that. It seems it had to do with the air conditioning on a hot summer day. Too many inside bbq would interfere. Maybe, but then again, the atmosphere was ok, there were fans too. Nobody complained about heat whatsoever.

A wonderful discovery in the heart of Rome that captivates from the first bite. The service is fast and attentive, always present but never intrusive, making the experience even more enjoyable.
The food is simply delicious. We started with the Mandu, steamed dumplings filled with pork and vegetables, soft and flavorful. The Kimcibokkunbap, rice sautéed with kimchi and sesame oil, topped with a fried egg, was balanced and enveloping, with a slightly spicy touch that entices you to try the next bite.
The Gung-Giung Tokpokk, rice dumplings in soy sauce with marinated beef strips, mixed vegetables, and Pyogo mushrooms, were also excellent: a rich and comforting dish. The classic Korean fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, truly irresistible.
The real star, however, was the Bulgoghi, strips of beef marinated in soy sauce with sweet potato noodles, vegetables, and Pyogo mushrooms, cooked right at the table. A convivial and tasty experience, made perfect by the fresh lettuce and ssamjang sauce.
IGIO is a highly recommended stop for those who are new to Korean cuisine or for those who already love it: authentic flavors, excellent quality, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Discovered in 2022, this is my favorite Korean restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service, and a welcoming, educational atmosphere. There are posters everywhere, and the menu is super informative. A great choice if it's your first time trying Korean cuisine.
My favorites are the Kimchi Jjigae and the fried chicken, which have remained consistently delicious. It's true that the prices are higher than the average restaurant you're used to, but compared to other Korean restaurants in the city (all good), this one offers good value for money.

On my way back from a trip to South Korea, I rushed to this restaurant in the heart of Trastevere, on Piazza San Cosimato. I obviously didn't get to try all the dishes, but what I did try was completely satisfying. The bibimbap and seafood frittata were excellent. They also have a traditional grill where you can cook meat and vegetables at your table. Perfect service. I'll definitely be back to try the entire menu. Recommended!

I made a reservation before going. It's very popular, so the tables filled up quickly. I was so happy to hear the staff speaking Korean.
We ordered pork belly, soybean paste stew, and spicy cold noodles.
The spicy cold noodles... they were seriously so delicious that I ordered another one.
The pork belly was a bit tough compared to Korean meat, but eating it with the lettuce wraps and noodles made me feel like I had a brief trip to heaven. The soybean paste stew was a bit bland, so I added the ssamjang that comes with the pork belly. Anyway, overall, everything was so delicious that I was very happy! I wish you continued success!

My favorite Korean restaurant that I visit every time I go to Rome. First of all, everything from the entrance to the tables and restrooms is clean, and the atmosphere suits not only Koreans but also locals. From the manager to the staff, everyone is cheerful, and the service is impeccable. The food tasted great, too. I couldn't take photos of everything, but there wasn't a single dish that disappointed me. It seems like reservations are a must now.
