The place was chosen on the recommendation of a starred chef... who did not disappoint my expectations in the slightest! The environment is large, welcoming and pleasant! In the splendid setting of Piazza San Cosimato there are also outdoor tables. However, we preferred to stay inside to fully enjoy the Korean atmosphere. The presentation of the menu and the dishes not to be missed on the first experience was much appreciated. It allowed us to make a winning choice. First they brought some exquisite appetizers with vegetables offered by the house. We had the ravioli which were amazing! Then came the potato spaghetti, which were the best culinary experience ever! ...but then, again, the fried chicken arrived which raised the bar even further. The beer and the traditional bitter were also excellent. The mandarin sorbet was a perfect finish. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered. An experience to repeat!

I went to a Michelin Guide restaurant yesterday, but Italian food didn't seem to suit my taste, so I went straight to eat Korean food... But I think this is the first time I've had Korean food so well abroad.
The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious!! So, I came here for 2 days and ate kimchi stew, bibimbap, stir-fried pork, kimchi stir-fry, and stir-fried chicken, and they were all above average, and the stir-fried pork was at the level of a really good restaurant even if it was sold in Korea.
You have to order pork without fail~~
Definitely the best restaurant in Rome!!

I came here two days in a row and it was much more delicious than most restaurants in Korea.
The owner and staff are so kind and they know how to speak Korean haha.
What I tried was kimchi stew, bibimbap, stir-fried chicken, and stir-fried kimchi.
There were 4 of these, and they were even more delicious because they tasted the same as in Korea without any vague localization.
1st day of Korea branch establishment 🙏
I had the pleasure of dining at the IGIO restaurant and I must say that it was an exceptional experience to say the least. From the moment I crossed the threshold, I was surrounded by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which immediately made me feel at ease. The wait staff was simply extraordinary. Each waiter was attentive, thoughtful and incredibly kind, always ready to recommend and explain the dishes with passion and competence. The real star of the evening was, of course, the cuisine. Every dish I tasted was an explosion of authentic and delicious flavours. The ingredients were very fresh and of the highest quality. The restaurant's furnishings are well cared for and the atmosphere is intimate and relaxing. The background music, typical Korean, contributed to creating an even more authentic and pleasant atmosphere. In conclusion, this is a restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to try authentic Korean cuisine in a welcoming, homely environment.

I made a reservation and went! It's crowded even on weekday lunches, so we recommend making a reservation before you visit. I'm Japanese, but I also love Korean food, and I often go to Korean restaurants, so it's tough to say, but the food here was quite delicious, and I was impressed that there was possum in Italy and Europe. The owner was also very welcoming and warm. I want to go to Rome again to go here! It was so delicious that I went there twice in one stay.

Wonderful Korean restaurant in Trastevere area, with great atmosphere and even better food. While serving a wide variety of Korean cuisine, as typical of Korean food, there are also many vegetarian options. As a matter of fact, I ended up re-visiting a few times to try different dishes, myself :)
All is good, but if this is your first time, I'd personally recommend:
1. Korean Fried Chicken - It was fried just perfect..
2. Korean pork short ribs stew with kimchi - Hefty portion, accompany with some rice to warm you up
3. Pork belly BBQ grilled at table - You can never go wrong with some korean bbq
With all dishes, accompany it with some Soju to get that kick. Mix it with some Beer if you're feeling extra spicy.
Oh and please try some ice cream for dessert..
The staff are welcoming and friendly. Some of them also speak Korean, English. Would recommend you make reservations in advance.
