I due Cippi In Manciano

We visited this restaurant for the first time last night. There were three of us, and on the advice of the very kind waiter, we ordered an excellent selection of cheeses and an excellent loin to start. Next, we were served a perfectly cooked Irish Angus Grass-Fed, tender yet flavorful. Also, courtesy of the owner, a pleasant surprise was provided for my son: a taste of Wagyu Sendai, truly exquisite and melt-in-the-mouth. The entire staff deserves special mention for their professionalism and kindness. We highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

Excellent, quiet, and elegant atmosphere, excellent selection of meats, and amazing wood-fired cooking! The staff knows how to recommend both meat and wine. Congratulations!

It's a 3.5, but I'm lowering it because I found some surcharges unjustified. As a meat and BBQ lover, I've had the opportunity to eat the meats offered many times. And I must say, the selection is truly top-notch. However, knowing the prices at the producer and butcher shop well, I find the markups truly excessive and not justified by other considerations, such as the location (nice but average) or the preparation of the service. The explanations are too brief and rushed, and the customer service is not that of a Michelin-starred restaurant. I would have appreciated, for example, being able to decide whether to have a rib-eye or a T-bone; or the option of choosing directly from the fridge. Instead, there's no information on this. There's also little guidance on the wine list, despite an impressive wine list. I was also disappointed by the "surprise" of the side dish: €15 a plate for grilled beans and simple tomatoes from their garden. Everything was very good, but the markup is hard to understand for such simple dishes and inexpensive ingredients. Furthermore, the cost of the side dish isn't listed on the menu. In summary: it was a very pleasant dinner, with good food, but the price wasn't justified. For this reason, I'm glad I tried it, but I wouldn't return.

The meat was excellent, perhaps a little overcooked by Tuscan standards. The appetizers, in my opinion, were overpriced for what they offered (half portions pictured). In my opinion, it's best to just order the steak and sides.

The two plaques outside the restaurant speak for themselves. A fantastic experience. Lorenzo, Alessandro, and the entire staff take you on a true journey!

EXCELLENT MANDATORY FOOD FOR THOSE WHO GO TO SATURNIA

€650.00 WELL SPENT!!!! Quality comes at a price...the meat is all good, both Japanese and European. The wine and spirits requested are average. A little attention should be paid to the suggested weight and the actual weight brought to the table, but no chef can know in advance how much the cut weighs...an extra 200 grams is quite expensive, but it's easily eaten. A RESTAURANT FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS.

Ottimo ristorante: location bella, ottimi antipasti e primi, carne eccellente. Prezzi al di sopra della media, ma ci sono locali che quando ci si va , si aspetta già che il prezzo è al di sopra della media, e questo è uno di quelli. Ma almeno una volta vale la pena provare

Locale bellissimo atmosfera unica brace a vista personale super gentile simpatico ed attento ad ogni minimo dettaglio. Cibo veramente eccellente pappardella al ragù di chininina sublime, bistecca maremmana buona ma a noi non ha sorpreso più delle tante bistecche mangiate in altri ristoranti della maremma (ma forse perchè siamo abituati) dolce la chicca che fa concludere in bellezza la serata. Due aspetti da appuntare, i prezzi veramente alti, però okay, prima di andare lo sai quindi è giusto anche non lamentarsi… mi aspettavo solo un trattamento più completo per quelle cifre, ad esempio, nessun amuse bouche nessun pre dessert nessun biscottino accompagnato al caffè… ecco io per questi costi certe cose me le aspetto… tutto qui! Per il resto… sicuramente un esperienza da provare.
