Definitely one of the best restaurants in Rome, and certainly the best Jewish one! The classic dish is undoubtedly the Carciofi alla giudia – but the other dishes are also impressively good. My recommendation: the oxtail.

Tired of aimlessly wandering through Rome's streets, it's time for refreshments in the Jewish Quarter. We choose this restaurant to try the Jewish-style artichokes and the roast lamb with a traditional dessert. Fast and precise service in a classic, romantic setting. The menu is good but not exactly cheap, just above average.

Extremely tasty and a nut different from the more usual Roman food whilst still being completely authentic

I chose this restaurant because I thought I'd find "a true Roman Jew inside," as advertised.
It was actually a disappointment because they were all Egyptian. I should point out that I have nothing against foreigners, but it didn't match what I read on their website.
The artichoke alla giudia was good, the bread was good, and the tonnarelli with cheese, pepper, and artichokes were well-cooked and delicious.
The service was quick and the place was very pleasant.

We came here for dinner and got the ox tail stew, lamb and potatos, and artichoke parmigiana. Everything was delicious! If you want to try something other than pizza and pasta in Italy, I highly recommend this place. Also! If you are in a rush, this restaurant is very quick to put out food.

This place is outrageously delicious! Rome has some amazing restaurants and this is a must try spot. I had the best cod dish I’ve ever had in my life. Came out pipping hot and they also gave me some bread on the side which was perfect to accompany the dish. I hope they never change their menu and stay true to the authentic and delicious roots. It was worth the trip ! Thank you!!
We tried the oxtail and the artichoke parmesan, and they were delicious.
The lasagna was also more homemade than in other restaurants. The spaghetti carbonara was decent.
The desserts were also good.
The waiter who served us was very friendly.

Food was very good.
I paid at the counter, not with the waiter. This was the first time in three weeks in Italy that I was solicited for tips, "for the guys", with the 15-18-20% screens like in North America. He was polite about it, but I didn"t like it. They should pay their staff a proper wage if they have to solicit tips.

Reading the reviews I had great expectations.
The famous artichoke it’s good but the rest of the food we had was average.
I cannot believe that locals would go there to eat cacio and pepe with artichokes that has almost no cheese.
I got a oily sauce that looked more like melted butter and a bit of Parmesan on top.
Call it just pasta with artichokes and not cacio and pepe.
