nice service but overpriced so-called tourist trap for 2x espresso, cannoli and tiramisu we left 18€ here, in Palermo there are much more affordable cafes and especially with tastier products.

I'm not usually a breakfast person, but this morning the window display at this bakery made me break the rules. I had a mattonella (a typical Sicilian rosticceria) and a small pistachio cannolo. Everything was truly delicious, a cannolo with an authentic flavor! The staff was very friendly, and I also appreciated the cappuccino they brought me.

Good pizza slices, also available to take away. Very, very friendly staff. No need to be loudly urged to come inside. Perfect customer service.

01/03/2026: Courtesy, kindness, excellent quality, elegant atmosphere, all the staff in all their roles are fabulous, they make you feel at ease, compliments to the two girls who served us, the food was fabulous, fantastic pizza, we will definitely be regular customers because we had a great time, next culinary experience 100 with honors
21/02/2026: Excellent dinner, welcoming atmosphere, no cell phones at the table. For this alone, it deserves a sixth star.

01/02/2026: Neither bad nor praiseworthy! The place was average: we had arancini, crostini, and eggplant meatballs as appetizers, followed by busiate with fried eggplant and salted ricotta (very good and well-received), mixed grill, beccafico sardines, and swordfish rolls. The appetizers were clearly reheated, so much so that one arancini was cold. Overall, everything else was average.
29/01/2026: Hi all, my first choice Osteria Nonna was full. This place was recommended by my Airbnb. Price is not as cheap as anonna but still reasonable. I got greedy. Even when eating alone I had a full 3 course meal. They had an English menu. I had the caponata. At 9€ quite expensive but very tasty. Soft eggplant with a tomato slightly sweet sauce. Portion was big and easy to eat with two or more with bread. As pasta I chose the pasta with sardines. Well it wasn’t my taste and didn’t enjoy it. The plate was huge. Again enough to share. 12€ seems fair for the amount. Frankly a-pettier and pasta is more than enough for non Italian eaters. But I was greedy and wanted to try the mix grill with swordfish, squid and prawns.at 16€ it was really cheap. But was not perfect. The prawn was overcooked, refried? The squid was surprisingly tough. Swordfish was OK. But I have had better in Milan. In the end I couldn’t recommend it for a second time. For this 3 dishes I ended up at 44€. To expensive. But the amount of food is more than fair
