Recommended by our Airbnb host, this place is a quiet little gem! The staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations and the food spoke for itself! The pasta was perfect! If we were in Rome long enough, would go back!

Came here for dinner after visiting the colosseo on a Saturday night. It was not busy. The dishes are presented with a modern twist. The service is friendly. I enjoyed the meal.

Siamo stati a cena in questo locale a due passi dal Colosseo, per la sera di San Valentino. Previsto il menù fisso che non ha deluso le aspettative, anzi. Il menù fusion Napoli - Roma, proposto dagli chef, ha evidenziato una sapiente preparazione e attenzione ai minimi dettagli. Tutto davvero buono, dagli antipasti ai primi per passare ai secondi e ai contorni. La chiusura con il dessert con delizia al cioccolato bianco, frutti di bosco e coulis di visciole ha suggellato questa piacevole esperienza. Servizio impeccabile ed attento alle esigenze del cliente. Consigliato!

He comido en este acogedor lugar cerca del Coliseo muchas veces, pero no desde 2012. Sigue siendo una experiencia gastronómica consistente y buena. La pasta es excelente y el menú es lo suficientemente diverso como para encontrar algo que se adapte a usted. Las porciones son perfectas, y la carta de vinos ofrece una buena variedad de botellas regionales. El servicio es cálido, rápido y servicial. Definitivamente volveré.

25/07/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Dar Bruttone in Rome, and it was a fantastic experience! I tried the classic Carbonara, the Carbonara al Tartufo, and La Trippa – all of them were simply fantastic. The Carbonara was perfectly creamy, with a balanced flavor between pecorino and guanciale, while the truffle version added an extra touch of refinement. The Trippa was superbly prepared, tender, and aromatic – a true Roman experience. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which made you feel immediately welcome. The staff took their time. An absolute must for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Roman cuisine. I highly recommend Dar Bruttone!
25/07/2025: Lunch during a workday, fast service and very welcoming. The carbonara was beautifully seasoned, and the mezze maniche pasta brought out the flavors even more. Each bite was like mopping up the bacon, pecorino, and egg. I recommend it, even though I was hesitant about the homemade fettuccine with mussels and pecorino. Fast service, generous side of sautéed chicory with chili pepper, well done. Coffee and house amaro (Dar Bruttone). Fair prices, below average considering the location.
