I had the pleasure of having lunch at the I Castagni restaurant in Vigevano, and although no dish evoked the "wow" effect, everything was well prepared, with quality ingredients and a careful presentation. What really struck me was the hospitality. Even though we were the only customers of the day, the restaurant decided to open exclusively for us, a gesture that demonstrates great attention and respect for its guests. Having also had a restaurant in Milan (Sato Sushi Experience), I know well what such a choice means, and for this reason the top marks are more than deserved. During lunch, we were served directly by the owner, a person of rare kindness who made us feel truly welcomed and at ease. The environment is refined and relaxing, ideal for an intimate and special culinary experience. I recommend trying I Castagni at least once, to experience a lunch or dinner where the hospitality exceeds all expectations.

Christmas Eve ..my birthday, first time. Upon our arrival we were greeted with an excellent welcome by the elegant, friendly smiling owner. We sit at the table, a room decorated with class... excellent dishes, everything delicious. ...despite the harsh climate outside, for the first time ever, I dined in short sleeves. Another point in favor of this place. I will be back!!! I recommend it

Stunning rooms for an excellent rest. All newly built. Attention to every little detail. Really recommended also for those who have to go to Milan, but want to sleep outside the city.

It's the second time we've been back: a starry experience with a rounded flavour, impeccable service, a warm and familiar environment. Tasting menu in my opinion suitable for everyone, with authentic tastes that wink at tradition. I really appreciated the search for seasonal themes! Despite myself, the first time, I had an unpleasant experience with dessert, but there's a reason I came back! Mouth-watering apple millefeuille! Service at times confusing and a little slow.

Vigevano 26 ottobre 2024 Ivi trasportato da parenti e amici per deliziar di coccole il palato, lo srittore acrobatico fantasista Raffaele Scettri trovò qui l'alchemica porzione di piacere da aggiungere al dover nutrirsi. Fu così che trovò altro elaborato e ricco nutrimento da dare in pasto alla sua ingorda e mai sazia fantasia.

Excellent food, à la carte or tasting menu (we chose this. Right quantities and complete offer. To be combined with the very long wine list.), beautiful and well-kept location. You can see all the competence of the Michelin star. Very recommended. Not having taken a room I can't express opinions.
