Yet Ceglie Messapica is not a seaside resort and no one would ever imagine going there to eat good fish. And let alone in a tavern.
But the right communication and healthy and correct marketing without frills, organized by a dynamic and lively young man, combined with the competence and professionalism of the kitchen, disproves the theory that fish is only eaten in seaside resorts.
It was enough to pass by by chance, to sometimes fleetingly view those videos recorded between one table service and another to understand that nothing was left to chance.
A hat worn backwards and excellent raw seafood just brought to the kitchen by the chef are the only ingredients used by the lively and enterprising young man, son of an artist, to make effective videos and communicate with simplicity the strengths of the family business.
There is no need for excessive eloquence and long speeches from artificial intelligence.
A short and clear message and a few effective sentences in redundancy that never hurts.
Exquisite food, we stopped at the appetizer and the excellent raw fish but what can I say.
Promise kept and we will return for the first and second courses.
A note for the chef's lady, an integral part of the staff obviously: compliments for the excellent blend (rosé of negroamaro and malvasia)

Absolutely delightful experience. It’s clearly beloved by locals and the atmosphere feels very welcoming and authentic. The specialty is seafood, platters of seafood to share as a table. We however got pasta dishes and they were delicious - simple but well made with great ingredients. The staff was so friendly. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!

Friendly, welcoming and helpful owner. The place is beautiful with personalized dishes, colored chairs and nautical-style tablecloths. Excellent fish and honest prices.

Ho letto.le recensioni su questo posto, il posto è relativo, chi opera lì conosce o da 30 anni e più
Scrivere dubbi sulla freschezza dei prodotti è da fucilazione sommaria e immediata, scrivere di burro nella pasta a vongole....evidentemente 4 salti in padella sono stati un classiso per molti e poi vanno al ristorante.
La pulizia e l'igiene di questa famiglia in cucina è da Scuola Alberghiera, e lo dico da tecnico specializzato nel settore con 30 anni di esperienza.
Per il resto godetevi la vita, se vi è piaciuto tornate, se non vi è piaciuto state lontani, ma non fate i giudici di Masterchef che a pranzo mangiate pasta con la pasta tutti i giorni

Squisiti i proprietari e squisiti i piatti!!
Il menù è di una pagina ma questa per una precisa scelta che condividiamo: solo ciò che offre il mercato giornaliero e la stagione.
Prezzo onesto in rapporto alla qualità e all'ambiente che crea una atmosfere come casa casa , calda e accogliente.
Fantastica la signora " di casa" che spiega la sua cucina con amore e passione.
Sorpresa finale con il dolce preparato al momento.
