Characteristic place, but the table was a little crowded due to the somewhat narrow spaces. Excellent dinner, good service. Very friendly and over the top staff, as often happens in Florence.

Excellent cuisine, good wine, friendly staff. Gastronomic trip (Bologna Florence) organized by a friend who had already been there, and I must say that it was really worth it. I will definitely go back.

Classic Florentine trattoria. But as a Florentine I would say that something could be done better. Overall still enjoyable.

Given that the staff was extremely kind and helpful - they welcomed us by seating us before our reservation time and even offering us coffee and bitters at the end of the meal, which we politely refused - we want to focus on the quality of the steak and the management of cooking. The filet steak (aka Fiorentina) was good, but not among the best I've ever tasted. I have had the pleasure of tasting clearly superior ones in other restaurants, even outside of Florence. However, the real problem was not the quality of the meat, but rather the cooking process and maintenance of the grill. Before ordering, we specifically asked if it would be possible to cook some parts of the steak further, as my wife doesn't like rare meat. We were guaranteed that it would be possible to select and extend cooking only on certain portions. Unfortunately, when the pieces intended for my wife arrived at the table, they were charred on one side, as can be seen from the attached photo. Furthermore, at first glance we realized - as barbecue experts - that the grill had not been cleaned properly. The streaks of burnt meat left by contact with the iron were very evident, a sign that the griddle is not adequately scraped between uses. This not only compromises the quality of cooking, but also affects the flavor of the meat, which inevitably takes on bitter and burnt notes. I am particularly sorry because my wife had high expectations of the Fiorentina steak, but unfortunately they were disappointed. A real shame, because the raw material seemed valid, but imprecise cooking and neglected maintenance penalized the overall experience.

Top quality/price ratio in Florence, excellent staff, good food and excellent value for money.

Magari ci condiziona un po’ l’ambiente familiare e cortese, ma ogni volta che ci troviamo a Firenze facciamo in modo di passare in questo locale tipico in cui assieme alla Fiorentina ci sono tante altre proposte!
