A welcoming and beautifully decorated place with beautiful, colorful paintings on the walls that create a lovely atmosphere. Very friendly staff. The food is top-notch. The chocolate-glazed pork shoulder is a highlight. The wine list is very good.

The tasting menu was truly excellent, as were the individual dishes and side dishes. The staff were very friendly and the setting was wonderful, in the most beautiful area of ​​Ragusa. 👏🏽🖖🏽

A nearly perfect experience. The pasta with sardines was an explosion of flavors, as was the one with bottarga. They were very different (the first was incredibly flavorful, the second delicate), but they both had an excellent balance of textures and flavors. The Sicilian fried fish was excellent, both in terms of the batter and the filling. The cannoli, served with a dusting of cinnamon, and the almond sorbet with a bitter orange sauce were interesting. The only negative was the onion and bell pepper giardiniera, which was too vinegary and completely lacking in crunch. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

My partner and I went for lunch, drawn by the excellent reviews and the chef's reputation. We ordered spaghetti with sardines and rigatoni with Turiddu sauce for the first course, and red snapper in an aromatic stew with giardiniera for the second course. All the dishes tasted like they had been pre-prepared and reheated in the microwave. The red snapper was tough, and the giardiniera tasted only of vinegar, and it would have been better not to order it. Although the location is beautiful, it's a culinary experience to be forgotten.

01/03/2026: A small restaurant in lower Modica, nestled in the side streets. The vintage, old-fashioned setting is charming. The food is excellent in its various options. The place is clean and welcoming. After a few years, I returned and was very disappointed. Meanwhile, the menu has been reduced to a limited selection of appetizers, and half-and-half first and second courses have disappeared. Appetizers are served on a single plate, with one piece of everything, like goldsmith's shop... a plate with four ravioli and about twenty cavati, even though the sauce was good. The boiled meat was enough to throw against the wall to play ball. The meat in the sauce was quite good. Then I saw the waitress take the quarter-liter bottles of wine and fill them almost secretly from a cardboard jug, passing it off as local wine. Drinks, desserts, and coffee were not included. In short, make your appointment and go to sleep... but for me, that's not the case. Poor.
18/02/2026: A very typical restaurant, not very beautiful, and prices are high compared to other nearby places. Very touristy and often crowded. The typical appetizer is expensive but decent, without any real specialties. Try the "Lolli con le fave," made in the old-fashioned way. The meats are good, but the portions are sometimes on the small side. Good service.

26/10/2025: The food was exquisite Pastas with sweet ricotta are delicious , I recommend the appetizers, they are super delicious. The waiter is super friendly and nice, he speaks several languages making things easier. The place is very well decorated and I think the cat theme is a very good idea.
26/10/2025: Excellent service, cozy and romantic place. The person who serves speaks English, Spanish, and Italian. The food is the best I've eaten in Italy. I recommend the eggplant. 🍆. The place is kid-friendly, everything is good and organized. 🐈‍⬛😻😺🐈‍⬛ It's called Cuatro Gatos. The appetizers were spectacular.
