My boyfriend and I had the tasting menus, one with meat and the other with fish. Everything was delicious, from appetizer to dessert. Excellent value!

Visiting Ibla has become a regular stop on my Ragusa vacation. This time, a friend took me to discover hidden corners, and the destination of the day was precisely this place: I Banchi. The location is beautiful; we simply ordered a platter and an excellent Sicilian Spritz, preceded by a tasting of Ragusano extra virgin olive oil and their own bread, both spectacular. It brought back memories of my grandmother giving it to me as a child. All the products we tasted were excellent, the waiter was excellent, explaining the dishes perfectly, and the owner was kind and attentive. The place is worth the trip and deserves a repeat visit.

Great restaurant with top-notch cuisine; reservations are essential. Daily special menus change with various number of courses (4 or 7). I had the 4-course meal for €35. Excellent value for money. Lovely ambiance. I was pleasantly surprised by the soundtrack (modern country music). I'd go back anytime!

The food was good; we particularly enjoyed the ceviche, arancina, and caponata, although some of the tuna in the ceviche was still slightly frozen.
The pasta was good, but very salty, so we both drank an unusually large amount of water throughout the evening.

Regional dishes with a more sophisticated touch. The food is very tasty and the wine and drinks list is excellent. I wouldn't recommend it if you want to go in large groups, they don't like it very much and the service is a bit off.

Todo empezó con el pan. Con la corteza crujiente y el interior sabroso - hecho por su propio chef - se podría decir que este lugar toma su comida en serio.
Los sabores de la Pasta Norma crearon una interesante fusión que destacó el carácter ahumado de la berenjena y la riqueza del Napoli. La pasta era de alta calidad y se complementaba con la maravillosa textura de la berenjena picada.

Inspiriert durch die Suche im Michelin Führer sind wir auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden.
Vorab das positive, unbedingt lohnenswert der Besuch von Ragusa. Das IBanchi liegt dort zentral in einem wunderschönen alten Gebäude mit Tradition.
Das Restaurant hat seinen eigenen positiven Charme. Hinsichtlich der Menüs und der gesamten Speisekarte hatten wir aber eine andere, höhere, Erwartungshaltung.
Es ist eine sizilianische inspirierte Küche, die ein gewisses Maß an Kreativität hat. Aber nicht annähernd etwas mit Sterneniveau. Trotzdem alles lecker und dazu dann auch ein richtig gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhltnis.
Der Service ist auf dem gleichen Niveau.
