Hug In Milano

Great selection of drinks. Short menu (I consider it a nice plus not to have to get lost in hundreds of proposals) but refined. Tastefully cooked dishes. Courtesy and professionalism of the highest order! I was expecting a different dish reading from the menu and so I left it. The chef came out to ask me what I didn't like and they removed the item from the bill even though it was a mere question of personal taste. I was amazed by the treatment! 10/10!

I went with friends on a Thursday evening and the place was a pleasant discovery. Quality food and drink, it's not very cheap but you find the right value for money. I really enjoyed the pasta and the beers. Refined brands and excellent ragù for pasta. The only negative note was the stand up comedy evening... at times embarrassing including the presenter. I didn't go for that but as an enthusiast I saw a really low level.

Kindness and taste: HUG is a delightful and welcoming place. I had lunch and tasted the tasty ricotta burger, the delicious legume soup and the pumpkin crouton which was delicious, in its simplicity. All dishes give you the opportunity to savor the ingredients fully, all seasoned with the courtesy and friendliness of the owner Stefano! :)

First taste of Hug's cuisine, I have to say it surprised me. Dishes cooked in a simple and tasty way, a varied menu with seasonal ingredients and proposals. Excellent - among others - the pumpkin crostone and the legume soup! The owner is really very nice, helpful and professional! I hope to return soon for another delicious lunch break! :)

Hug is back and is even more welcoming than before: attention to detail while maintaining its free spirit. Excellent lunch, compliments to the chef, the tartare was very good as were the first courses shared with the other friends at the table. Very attentive service without waiting. Being able to stay a little longer after lunch to play board games, read or simply chat is the added value that makes you feel at home!

At Hug you can breathe a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, refined and with retro touches, but never flaunted. At the center remains care for the customer, who sits comfortably in a bright environment. The dishes are carefully prepared and always perfect, and the service is warm and sincere! Highly recommended

Hug has reopened! The kitchen is renovated, with some strong dishes remaining. But I wanted to try the new things: the truly delicious rabbit and the exquisite duck. Lots of new beers, in short, an experience to be repeated soon. Lots of events already scheduled. It remains a reference for the area, see you soon Hug! Newly renovated, welcoming and warm place. The kindness and professionalism of the staff and owners should not be underestimated. We tried several dishes, super balanced and of high quality, all accompanied by excellent wine and craft beer. Absolutely must try! Well done everyone and keep it up!

First of all… the panna cotta with persimmon cream: amazing! 🫠 Then the place which is among the most welcoming and informal in the area, although the offer is anything but homely. Even the fish and chips are made with the care that a passionate British or Scandinavian lady would put into her home kitchen. Oh…am I contradicting myself? I think this is the spirit of the place. However, a few evenings ago I appreciated the refinement of the cured meats and the lightness of the tripe. In an evening with stand comedy. There were nice people, even children who were at ease thanks to the spaces with different sound volumes and density of people. Finally, easy chatter, between neighbors at the table or smoking under the canopy in the garden (it was raining).
