The food was fine but we were disappointed by keiserschmarrn. Not properly fluffy, probably too much flour and not whipped egg whites. Tastes more like pancake than keiserschmarrn.

We stopped at the Huiba Hitte during our ski day at Kronplatz and enjoyed a table on the terrace in glorious sunshine. The food was excellent, and the service was quick and friendly. We had wine and water with our steak, and a schnapps to finish. According to the owner, many of the ingredients are homemade. In our opinion, you could taste the difference. Anyone in the area should definitely eat here during the season.

29/05/2026: We were at this beautiful alpine pasture today 😍 We were lucky it was only open on its first day!! Super service... incredibly friendly staff, and the food and atmosphere were simply fantastic!! We were there with our three dogs and will definitely be back!!!!

Hotel Ansitz Kematen

05/07/2026: Very nice view on the mountains. We went there for lunch and arrived before noon so there were tables available. The Pork Escalope was spot on , very tender and tasty. The plates we have seen on other tables also looked extremly good. The service extremly friendly and efficent. Aside from the printed menu they had another menu of the day with another 10- 15 dishes , so plenty of choice. There is also a small playground for kids.
29/04/2026: A beautiful place with fantastic food. What I especially appreciate is that the owners, Luis and Elisabeth, try to source their products from the region or even from the Ritten plateau. I love taking guests to Kematen for meals. Highly recommended! 😋😋😋
