Hotel Willy Restaurant In Gemona del friuli

I ended up here by accident, my car broke down on the highway 😅 The staff speaks fluent English and German, so the language barrier isn't a problem. The price is affordable, the rooms are clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I recommend it 😅

It's located roughly halfway between the Austrian and Slovenian borders. A nice place to stay overnight in a campervan. We drove through Italy on a country road and stayed here overnight. Electricity and water cost €20.00.

We used the camper area and can only give it an excellent review. The place is very well maintained and offers all the amenities you need.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights and had a great time. It's a fairly quiet hotel, allowing for a good night's sleep, thanks in part to the polite hosts. In front of my room, which also had a balcony with a chair and a small table, was a lovely park with mountains in the background—a pleasant view, in short. Every time I rang the bell at reception, someone was always there within a minute. The rooms are easily accessible, including those with disabilities. The room was clean and had a nice bathroom with a shower featuring various water jets. The cleaning ladies were also very friendly, and I had a chance to chat with them a little. The bar serves a good breakfast. I didn't explore the restaurant, however, which I assume is just as good as everything else. The location, although about a kilometer from the bus station, is easily accessible on foot by turning away from the station and turning left, straight ahead, as I did after getting off the bus with my wheeled bag. The hotel also has ample parking and a designated area for campers. There are no disturbing nightlife venues nearby, so my overall rating is definitely positive. I also received a small discount when paying.

The price/value ratio is completely appropriate.

On our Alpe-Adria bus and bike tour, one of the stops was the Willy! The food was presented perfectly, which isn't often the case. Thanks to the pretty blonde. When she remarked that pasta and noodles are my thing, I got seconds. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Thank you.
