Hotel Traubenwirt In Marlengo

What were the recommendations for lunch last Sunday? We decided on a Wienerschnitzel with French fries and a cordon bleu. It went relatively quickly and the food was served. We often ate in different restaurants in South Tyrol, in the Merano corner, but with the best will in the world we couldn't find the four stars shown here. In terms of its orientation (furniture, service and food), the restaurant resembles more of a mediocre canteen in larger companies than a restaurant with a thoroughly appealing rating. Again, going there just for lunch is not something you have to worry about. There are better and much cheaper restaurants.

Thanks to the recommendation from Haus Eden, we had a wonderful dinner at the Grape Inn. Mushrooms that taste like mushrooms, fluffy dumplings, pasta al dente and fresh salad from the buffet. Plus this magnificent view over Meran. A great experience.

We were here today based on a recommendation, we were lucky to get a nice place. We were served very quickly and the drinks came quickly despite the restaurant being full at around 7:30 p.m. The two pizzas came almost too quickly and looked good. Unfortunately they weren't cut and the dull knives meant the dough could only be torn. Crispy on the outside but unfortunately our biggest criticism, just soggy and sometimes the dough wasn't cooked through. Price performance was ok and even the price and performance for the dessert were 5 stars. Unfortunately, despite the restaurant being almost empty, the service was no longer there. Neighboring tables waved with empty glasses just like us…. Too bad... At the end we were able to express our displeasure about the good tasting pizza to a nice boss. She couldn't quite understand it but then said I had to take a look - everyone would be happy.

Wir waren in der angrenzenden Unterkunft für eine Nacht und haben hier natürlich zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war super lecker, das Personal und die Chefin sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Ausblick ist unbezahlbar.
