A lovely pizzeria with South Tyrolean specialties and a beautiful view. It's quite busy, so it's best to arrive early for the best view. The risotto is deliciously chunky and the portions are huge, with plenty of chanterelle mushrooms.

We were very satisfied with the pizza and the macaroni Bolognese. The ambiance is a bit dated, but if you get a seat with a view outside, it makes up for it. The service was attentive.

Pizzeria Ristorante Zum Hirschen

24/09/2025: Lovely Risotto and Tuna and Anchovies Pizza. Had to even take some back to the hotel.
20/09/2025: We were in Chiusa to visit the city. So, while walking around, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant and pizzeria. I never would have dreamed of eating such a good pizza. We ordered a poracconiera bianca, a pizza with speck, provola, and mushrooms. I was immediately pleased to notice the wood-fired oven burn marks. I love wood-fired pizza. It has a completely different flavor and aroma. The place is located in a charming little square. A truly delightful little spot.
