Hotel Trattoria Da Elide In Assisi

Cena di San Valentino con menù dedicato. Varie le proposte e si poteva optare per abbinamenti gourmet di pesce o carne. Eravamo in coppia con nostra figlia ed abbiamo scelto come antipasto un polpo alla griglia in salsa BBQ,crema di patate e alloro e un flan di pecorino, crema di fave e guanciale croccante. Entrambi molto buoni, il flan però era un po' troppo tiepido per i gusti di mio marito. Come primi abbiamo assaggiato i ravioli al cinghiale, parmigiano e gelo di lamponi e strangozzi al tartufo (questi ultimi erano davvero buoni). Di secondo abbiamo scelto baccalà alla perugina con prugne ed arance ma non siamo rimasti molto entusiasti perché i sapori non si fondevano bene. Di dolci abbiamo invece provato il tiramisù (ma sapeva poco di tiramisù e molto/troppo di panna),la saker ruby e lamponi e una cheesecake ai frutti di bosco.... tutti e tre i dolci non ci hanno entusiasmato particolarmente. Avevamo già in precedenza mangiato in questo ristorante ed abbiamo constatato che sono di gran lunga da preferire i piatti un po' più tradizionali della cucina regionale. Il locale, il servizio e l'attenzione verso il cliente sono sicuramente da apprezzare, prezzi a pietanza che variano dai 6€ (per i dolci) ai 22€ (secondi).

We always happily return to this very pleasant place. we have always only been in a restaurant and not in a hotel, so we only evaluate the food. Traditional menu but with updates and dishes of the day, all really well done, well presented. Very courteous and affable staff. Prices are normal for the type of venue and the location (500 meters from the Basilica).

Excellent for meat menus. A little difficult for those requesting a vegetarian menu, they have few options.

Only used the restaurant. Cozy and clean place. The food good. The only but major flaw was that the service was slow due to the lack of staff, resulting in discomfort due to the attention received and the long waiting times for both orders and courses. Sin.

Modern trattoria, refined furnishings and warm and welcoming atmosphere! Traditional dishes with excellent and genuine ingredients. Recommended first courses and desserts!

ADVISED Review only on the restaurant. For us, an excellent experience both for the quality of the food, for the environment, for the service, and also for the appropriate bill. Among the various restaurants frequented during these days of holiday, this is the one I highly recommend trying. Furthermore, in a simply professional way, they allowed us to order à la carte on New Year's Eve when almost all the restaurants in Assisi only offered dinner with a fixed menu, on average €90 per person. Often stay in summer at the hotel but was visiting from Rome for the day and had a beautiful meal - quality and flavour excellent but presentation so good. Despite being very busy everyone got great service as always. Should definitely have taken a picture of the starter as so beautifully presented

Ottimo ristorante...curato nei particolari...servizio veloce....abbiamo mangiato una buonissima faraona al tartufo e salsiccia...anche se la quantità era un po' modesta...buonissime anche le patate al forno....dessert buono...ottima carta dei vini....nessuna attenzione però al cliente come il caffè o l' amaro offerti a fine cena...anzi, il conto era 59, 50 e ci hanno fatto pagare anche i 50 centesimi...piccoli stupidi dettagli che però fanno la differenza con altri locali vicini ove addirittura ci hanno fatto uno sconto di 3 euro sul conto finale
