We only used the restaurant for lunch. The staff were very friendly and the dining room was beautiful. The appetizers and main courses were very good, and desserts and coffee were average. Prices were typical for Macugnaga. I would return.

Wonderful vacation. The owner was kind, helpful, and friendly, as was all the staff. Breakfast was varied, with fresh cakes every day, fruit salad, savory dishes, fruit juices... all very good. The dishes were carefully prepared and truly delicious, with a wide selection ranging from meat to fish every day. You can request variations or additions to the menu. The wooden rooms are clean and equipped with every comfort.
I repeat: the owner was truly attentive to our every request, very kindly.
I will definitely return with my husband, perhaps for a longer vacation.

English: Wonderful hotel, very welcoming and familiar, well furnished and conceived as a corner of home, reassuring and elegant. The rooms are basic, but warm and with a splendid view of Monte Rosa. In the room courtesy set with slippers and creams, soaps and shampoo with high quality olive oil. The bathroom is dated and could be more in line with the standard of the hotel, but it is clean. The small garden at the back is welcoming and well kept. The staff is very helpful and kind. The owner personally takes care of the breakfasts and welcomes you as you would welcome a person in your own home: her courtesy and kindness really struck me. Early in the morning she greets you with a smile and asks how you slept, before showing you the countless delights prepared especially for breakfast: homemade cakes, waffles, pancakes and then honey directly from the honeycomb, eggs cooked on the spot, wholemeal bread with various seeds (fragrant), very fresh fruit salad and apples cooked with ginger and so on... truly a rare experience to find!

I booked this room for two nights.
First time in Macugnaga.
We were happy with the hotel's location, convenient to everything, next to the road but far enough away to not hear noise.
We had breakfast included, plentiful and varied.
We had dinner one evening at the hotel and we had a good time, quiet environment, typical food.
There is parking and a garden with chairs and deckchairs.
The living area is typical and well kept.
The staff is extremely kind and helpful.
Perhaps the only flaw is the rooms, in general the upper floors are a bit dated, our room particularly small but I really appreciated the cleanliness and order which I consider fundamental.
I really appreciated the bathroom products in paper packaging.

The welcome was very friendly, they made us feel welcome and gave us lots of useful information for our stay. The hotel has a large private car park (where there is a charging station for electric cars) and also some parking spaces in the covered public car park. At the back there is a garden with seats and tables, ideal for relaxing outdoors.
The breakfast - sweet and savory - is rich and quality, served by the owner herself, and supported by the dining room staff. They provide catering service so it is possible to have half board, or simply decide to have dinner one evening. The dishes offered vary every day, all excellent, with different options and also traditional local dishes.
The house wines are excellent. Prices are normal and adequate for the quality.
Recommended for the location, slightly inside the main road and close to the ski lift; for the courtesy of the owners and staff, for the wonderful view of the Monte Rosa massif, for the breakfast and the restaurant. Last but not least, the cleanliness. Everything perfectly maintained and clean both outside and inside and in the room.
The only small flaw, the size of the room and the bathroom, a bit small. However, it must be kept in mind that the construction is typical of the place.

Hotel located in a strategic position both in winter and summer. Close to the ski lifts, I appreciated the tranquility that you can breathe. Rooms a little small but compensated by the kindness of the owner and employees. The structure offers a good breakfast and a restaurant with typical dishes of the area really good.
To underline the importance of a nice parking available in the courtyard of the hotel and some places reserved for Signal in the covered municipal parking located a few steps from the hotel

Abbiamo cenato per la prima volta in questo ristorante. Non sono i soliti piatti di montagna, per fortuna perché quelli li puoi trovare in tanti altri ristoranti, ma comunque si trovano piatti particolari e comunque con prodotti locali. Location veramente carina e personale molto gentile. Prezzi economici nella media
