Hotel Scapolatiello In Vietri sul mare

A beautiful establishment in a setting of incredible nature and history. Comfortable rooms although a little dated.

What a special hotel, about a 20-minute drive from the center of Salerno. High in the mountains, with a fantastic terrace and view. Beautiful route up by car, in some parts there are narrow passages for the car, but it is doable. Excellent breakfast buffet and fine dinner in the restaurant in the evening. Nice room, good bed, excellent bathroom. The only downside: WiFi is very poor (actually only good in the restaurant area) and due to the mountains there is hardly any mobile reception. So you really relax 😀 Friendly staff.

The Scapolatiello hotel is a corner of paradise for those who want to unplug from the stress of everyday life. It is an original way of experiencing the Amalfi Coast, secluded, without a view of the sea, immersed in the greenery of the mountains with a peace that is difficult to compare with other places. The pool is large, enjoyable, the halls are gorgeous, wonderful with unique handmade pieces of art. The rooms are not the most comfortable, at least the double room I stayed in was a little old and small, but it had a bathroom with window overlooking the pool (room without balcony due to the shape of the structure). I would happily stay here again, it's an amazing hotel. I had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant and I highly recommend everyone to do the same, it is a unique experience, an initiation rite into the haute cuisine of Campania. The prices are low for the excitement of what this place offers, and I really appreciated the treat of offering free pool towels at the bar. For 9 euros a day you can take advantage of the convenient private, guarded garage, but pay attention to the width of your car because to reach it there is a very narrow road (up to a Jeep Renegade there is no problem with the mirrors closed). However, the largest free private car park is present and is located around the corner below the hotel (100m).

Immersed in the valley of the small historic centre, it enjoys a very fine enviable position near the famous abbey famous for its ceremonies. Park bus right near. It remains one of the most upscale hotels in Cava de Tirreni.

This hotel is located in a beautiful spot, with stunning views. There is a large outdoor terrace with many places to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s got a bit of a confusing layout, but the rooms are good and the staff friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, perhaps a little overpriced and trying hard with presentation, but not too its detriment. I would overall recommend this hotel as a solid good quality place to stay.
