Hotel San Marino Restaurant In Carate urio

We have just had the most lovely couple of days break at Hotel San Marino. Beautiful view from our room. Hotel was clean and cosy. The lady in charge was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful. Really good value for money including the breakfast. Do not listen to the negative reviews as it really is a lovely place to stay. We will be back !

Absolutely charming hotel. Elegant and clean with plenty of character. Beautiful lake view from the room. Very friendly and helpful hosts and the highlight was definitely the delicious food. Although rural there was a bus stop directly opposite the hotel who h was perfect for exploring. Would really love to return here.

This old-style hotel could use a refresh. In my opinion, it's more of a place for passing through than for vacation. We stayed here for two days and will remember it fondly, as the property is small and we practically had the pool to ourselves. A car is required in the area. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. The property also has a table tennis table. The food is okay, and the service is friendly.

Unbeatable value for money. Very well located hotel. Room with lake view, renovated, good quality bedding (a little hard). Large bathroom. Restaurant with a diverse menu, the prices are very affordable. Very good service. The complex could do with a few touches of renovation to be close to ideal. The only downside is the very busy road that passes under the room windows... but you can't have everything at this price. We'll keep the address for a future stay in Como

This is a lovely hotel with specific style room and a breakfast/diner area with a tremendous view. The price is good. The diner was good. The breakfast was good, there is enough variation.

found by chance and in a hurry it turned out to be a real surprise, very large room, balcony with a view, large bathroom, very bright and clean room, comfortable beds, parking under the hotel, shame I couldn't try either the breakfast or the restaurant but I had other commitments

Based on the photos, it can be concluded that each room has a balcony, which was important to me. We specifically booked a 3-person room and we were two because of the balcony with a view of the lake. After checking in and receiving the room key, we were surprised that there was no balcony, so we went back to the reception to say that it was probably a mistake, and the lady told us that to get a room with a balcony, we should call in advance and say that we wanted a balcony because there are no rooms with a balcony at the boking. I was surprised because it was in the photos (at least you could conclude that it was in the photos). Finally, seeing our dissatisfaction, the lady offered us a room with a balcony for which we had to pay 20 euros extra. Please pay attention because you may be unpleasantly surprised when you get there. The rest is acceptable.
