Hotel San Giuseppe In Cernobbio

This hotel is very good value for money for the area around Lago Como. While not right next to the lake, it is a short walk away from the embarcadere allowing easy planning of day trips on the lake. Rooms are comfortable, personnel is very kind. We highly recommend.

We only came to the restaurant to eat. Everything was very delicious, and the service was excellent, with live music. The prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend it!

The staff were incredibly helpful—when we asked for two extra blankets, they brought them immediately. We also requested an iron several times to freshen up our clothes, and each time they provided it without any hesitation. The location is perfect if you're planning to visit Lake Como—just an easy 8-minute walk away. A special thank you to Maurizio and his wife, who were so kind and welcoming. You can really tell they care about their guests and do their best to make everyone feel at home. One big thank you to them! If we return to Como, we will definitely come back to this hotel. Highly recommend this beautiful family-owned and operated hotel. Service and attention to detail are superb. Great food and excellent live piano entertainment in a fantastic restaurant and bar. Looking forward to returning.

July 24, 2025 Where should I begin? Italy may be one of my favorite countries, but... By chance, I was able to check into the last room at the Hotel San Giuseppe. My suitcase was immediately carried to my room. Despite the loud air conditioning, I slept wonderfully. A quick breakfast, as checkout was at 10:00 a.m.; you can tell from the many little touches and the very customer-oriented service that the hotel is family-run. I was completely overwhelmed this morning when the owner "gave" me breakfast. 🧡🧡🧡 I'd happily ignore all hotel chains for that. I wish the hotel many nice customers and recommend it without reservation!!!! +++ Large, comfortable rooms and shower +++ Tastefully decorated café/restaurant and terrace +++ Excellent hospitality What will I begin with? Italy may well be one if my favorite countries, but ….. By “coincidence” I got the last available room in the hotel San Giuseppe, if not the last around Lake Como. After a friendly welcome I was shown into a spacious nice room with bathroom en suite. My bag was taken care of by the son of the house. After a great sleep I had a quick breakfast as checkout time is 10:00 am. One can tell by many little things and the very customer-oriented service that the business is family run. I was eventually completely overwhelmed when the owner told me that my breakfast was on the house🧡🧡🧡 This country simply warms my heart!!! For moments like this I gladly leave the big hotel companies!! I wish the San Giuseppe all the best and many nice and returning guests and recommend without hesitation!!

The Hotel San Giuseppe was the perfect place to stay for our family trip to Cernobbio. The hotel has a rich local tradition, and the rooms, including air conditioning and bathrooms, are modern. It is family-run (three generations involved) and is just a few minutes' walk from the center, where there are many restaurants and attractions. Unfortunately, the in-house restaurant was closed that day, so we cannot rate it. For breakfast, we had fresh croissants, coffee, yogurt, omelets, toasted sandwiches, and everything your heart could desire (à la carte). Parking is available in the back courtyard for a small fee. The value for money was definitely good for this area, and we would stay there again anytime.

I can't comment on the hotel, but I've been there several times for lunch. I can recommend it without reservation. I like the ambiance almost better. The hotel is family-run. The owner is attentive and always has a good joke on his lips. The location is quite hidden, so it's worth seeking out.
