Everything was truly excellent, from the pizza to the main courses. Attentive, fast, and friendly service: you immediately feel welcomed. I highly recommend this place for the quality of the food and the customer service.

The main course we ordered was good, but the prices on the Google Maps menu are false. The hunter's platter costs €20.90, plus there's a €2.50 cover charge per person. Our companions had lunch downtown at significantly cheaper prices. The prices aren't justified, especially considering the restaurant's remote location.

05/03/2026: For a typical Valtellina dinner with friends from Milan, we chose Ristorante San Carlo, known for its impressive cellar, which also houses a collection of Valtellina Nebbiolo bottles. Despite the steep prices and somewhat limited portions of the dishes, such as the antipasto, sciatt, and taroz, the quality and sophistication of the dishes met our expectations. We also greatly appreciated the kindness and friendliness of the staff, who greeted us from the moment we entered and welcomed us into their restaurant.

13/02/2026: Excellent service and very good food, well done
08/02/2026: I'm writing both for the Locanda, where we stayed in a suite 😀 with a lovely atmosphere and a hot tub, and for the restaurant, where we dined, enjoying an excellent selection of local Valtellina dishes and flavors. We were pampered by all the staff, but special mention goes to Davide, who was very attentive and hospitable. We hope to see you again soon! Exceptional value for money.
