I'm only rating the bar service. The cappuccino is very good.

A very old hotel-restaurant, with a very quaint, old-fashioned feel to it. The food is very authentic, in my opinion. The service is very good and friendly.

We're here on vacation for two weeks, exploring Northern Italy. We've eaten at various places, but here at the "Milano," the food is simply delicious and authentic Italian. We were also looking for a restaurant, but all the others were closed, and we were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is just right: an old, historic house with a restaurant to match. The restaurant features great photos and paintings on the walls by the Lake Idro painter Frederico Vaglia. Everything is just perfect, and the staff is even more so... Thank you for the friendly service and the excellent food!

We only ate here. Therefore, no review of the hotel. Actually, a little out of desperation. And as sometimes happens, the surprise worked. Authentic Italian food in a wonderful dining room, with only locals besides us. Highly recommended. Delicious and reasonably priced.

Top food. We ordered a risotto with bagoss and a vegetable soup of the day. The bagoss, partially added towards the end, maintained its consistency, unlike many who add it all in while cooking the sauce. The potatoes in the soup were cooked just right for those who want to appreciate their texture without being raw. Truly rare to find something like this. Recommended 😍 P.S. The menu is also bilingual for any tourists who don't speak Italian.

We had a truly delicious meal at this restaurant, which we discovered by chance from our campsite. Outside on the terrace with the typical Italian fluorescent lights, it wasn't exactly inviting, but inside it was perfectly pleasant. Truly one of the most delicious steaks "à la pepe verde" we've ever had. Fantastic!

The service wasn't exactly friendly, and communication was extremely poor. We ordered half a liter of white wine and half a liter of red. White wine... Right the first time. Instead of red wine, they brought a liter of prosecco in a carafe!!!! No, not prosecco, but red wine... Second attempt: a liter of red wine instead of, as first ordered, a half liter. The excuse: my wife hadn't specified that it should be a half liter. By then, I'd actually been done with a restaurant, but my wife is more patient, and she was rewarded with excellent pizza.
