Hotel Ristorante Milano In Idro

I've only been to the restaurant, which is very convenient for those heading to the mountains, as it's right on the road and has convenient parking. It offers both thin pizzas and other typical and non-typical dishes. The risotto was nice, the mushrooms were nice, but a little salty.

Great food, worth stopping and enjoying.

The last time I set foot in the restaurant was about seven or eight years ago, then I went back about a month ago. The welcome in the evening wasn't great, but when we returned for lunch, they were very welcoming. I highly recommend the mushroom and bagoss risotto, it's really good (VERY GOOD). The perch is also very good, the portions are generous, let's just say you don't leave the restaurant hungry. I didn't really like the meringue pie, but that's not what makes the difference. My mom really likes the seafood appetizers; there's a wide selection and plenty of it. (The owner seems younger) Updating the review as of January 30, 2026: The pizzas are a bit so-so. There was a time when they were much better, but we've ordered takeout three times (we live above the hotel, so it doesn't have time to get cold). However, they're very sparse on toppings; I could count on one hand how many little pieces of sausage or pancetta there were... there have been other times when the toppings were sparse, but each time I forgot to take photos. There used to be a "Bagossa" pizza, but on the phone they'd say they didn't put sausage on it, so they'd ask if we wanted it. Now, if you don't know, you're shocked when you see a pizza with only Bagoss cheese. It's a shame about this change... I liked it better before (it's not even that many months ago).

On Lake Idro, along the road to Madonna di Campiglio, the ideal place for a lunch stop. Excellent quality (the trio of first courses is a must-try).

Fabulous! A typical, authentic restaurant on Lake Idro. Fantastic food of all kinds, whether pizza, pasta, or antipasti – everything was simply delicious! The value for money is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and everything is served quickly. I always love coming back here! 😎🏍️👍

A very old hotel-restaurant, with a very quaint, old-fashioned feel to it. The food is very authentic, in my opinion. The service is very good and friendly.

We're here on vacation for two weeks, exploring Northern Italy. We've eaten at various places, but here at the "Milano," the food is simply delicious and authentic Italian. We were also looking for a restaurant, but all the others were closed, and we were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is just right: an old, historic house with a restaurant to match. The restaurant features great photos and paintings on the walls by the Lake Idro painter Frederico Vaglia. Everything is just perfect, and the staff is even more so... Thank you for the friendly service and the excellent food!

We only ate here. Therefore, no review of the hotel. Actually, a little out of desperation. And as sometimes happens, the surprise worked. Authentic Italian food in a wonderful dining room, with only locals besides us. Highly recommended. Delicious and reasonably priced.
