Hotel Restaurant Schaurhof In Vipiteno

This is a lovely, family run hotel and you can see that in the attention to detail. Its a little outside Sterzing, but up a bit in the mountains with a fab view, especially the next morning when we walked out of the hotel to discover snow on the mountain tops. We had a big room (the sofa could have been used for 2 kids) and everything was super clean. The small sauna area was a very welcome surprise after a long car journey. And the food! Wow! I took the 'Surprise Menu' in the evening which is literally what it says. I was asked what I most definitely wouldn't like to eat, but after that I had no clue what I was getting. It did not disappoint! The breakfast was gorgeous too, with lots of fresh fruit and fresh local eggs. All yum!

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our stay. Despite the circumstances, the advance payment was fully refunded. Friendly and professional staff. Thank you!

My family and I spent a wonderful week at this hotel. The location is excellent because it's close to everything—just a few minutes away are Vipiteno, the Monte Cavallo cable car, and more. The cleanliness is excellent, as are the meals, which are truly delicious! For those with children, there's both a lovely outdoor and indoor playground with lots of fun activities. I highly recommend it!

We booked the vacation apartment separate from the main hotel, so I can't say much about the rooms themselves. The apartment has enough space for a family, the kitchen is well-equipped, and there's parking available. The breakfast at the Schaurhof left nothing to be desired: fresh fruit, regional sausage and cheese, cakes, juices, eggs, and a large selection of bread and rolls. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try dinner, but given the quality of the breakfast, it can only be delicious; we'll definitely try it again on our next vacation.

We've been here for a week. The food is very high quality, varied, and delicious. We're absolutely thrilled. Everyone is super nice. It's incredibly clean. The sauna and pool are amazing.
