Went here for lunch. The waitress was lovely! The view was beautiful and it was in a peaceful area off the beaten track

For students, it's great, and the receptionists are very committed and understanding.

The receptionist speaks English and was very friendly at all times. The room was small, but we knew that beforehand, and it was enough for one night before returning to Barcelona. The restaurant service was excellent and very attentive, and they offered a 20% discount. We also had breakfast at the same hotel for €12 per person, which was good. Overall, a decent option for a 1- or 2-day stay.

An acceptable option for those on a budget in Venice, but a few things to note. Honestly, based on the online reviews, I expected worse. It's not a perfect hotel, but if you're on a budget for your stay in Venice, it's a perfectly acceptable option. The hotel enjoys a pleasant and quiet location, with a lovely view of the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute. The rooms are old, yes, but with a certain rustic charm. However, the facilities are aging: carpet and walls marked by age, an outdated bathroom, wall hangings, and very dusty air conditioning. Also worth noting is the shared bathroom right next to our room, which was quite noisy. The real downside is the air conditioning: there's only one remote control for the entire hotel. You therefore have to go to reception (in another building, several meters from the annex where we were staying) to turn it on or off. It was set very high for the high outdoor temperatures, and made us sick the first few nights because of the sudden temperature fluctuations and the dust that accumulated above the unit and on the wall hangings. Also note that, contrary to what is advertised online, the reception is not open 24/7: it often closes before 11 p.m. The restaurant and breakfast prices are high for the quality and selection offered. The restaurant also closes earlier than indicated online or at reception. 👉 In summary: a place to consider if you want to stay on the island of Venice without spending too much, but be aware of the limitations, particularly regarding comfort and services.
