Hotel Hermitage Ristorante In Portoferraio

I went there to eat by the forest fire. The food selection was extensive and there was something for everyone. The service was impeccable.

The beach on Elba that absolutely must be visited. The hotel offers everything, including a golf course with a lake. Tennis, swimming pools, and even a small church. Behind the promontory, an enchanting walk takes you to a wild bay. On the way back, stop at the Hermitage and ask for Fabio, the cocktail boy. You won't find anything like it except in the best bars in London or New York. They're expensive (about €25), but he prepares them for you with incredible ingredients, explaining the process in a breathtaking setting. UPDATE 2025: For about two summers, the currents in the bay have changed, and the sea in front of the Hermitage is still very (very) dirty. The panoramic path along the coast has been closed.

I came for lunch. The restaurant on the sea with super service, the guys are mostly Neapolitan and you can see the extra gear. A high-level place with fantastic cuisine. High prices but in line with what they offer. I haven't found anything better on Elba yet.

Spent two amazing nights at Hotel Hermitage in early June with my friends! The hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of white sandy beaches with crystal clear waters and breathtaking. Upon checking in, we were upgraded to the sea-view suites with two full bathrooms each! The rooms are clean and bright, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the authentic vibe and rich history of the island. We were pleasantly surprised to find that beach chaise lounges I reserved my room numbers, so there’s no need to head to the beach early in the morning to reserve your spots and there’s no worry about anyone taking your chairs if you leave the beach and come back later. To our relief, chairs are always assigned to you by your room number. There are four restaurants in the hotel, as well as a beachside lunch menu. We tried all four restaurants and ordered food to the beach, and not once were we disappointed. The food was excellent with some delicious and exquisite local staples, and the breakfast buffet was rich with lots of variety and healthy selections, as well as gluten-free options. The pool bar offers some excellent drinks too with sweeping views of the sea. The staff is extremely professional and courteous, promptly and accommodating, our needs and requests, and offering tips on where to go and what to do. They also have a full service spa should one feel like getting any treatments. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking to spend some relaxing time on the beach in a beautiful laid-back Italian seaside setting with magical sunset views. I’m grateful for the wonderful time we had there and the amazing service and treatment we received. The owner Gian Luca is attentive to his guests, making sure everyone is enjoying their time at the hotel. I would gladly go back there with friends or family.

Located on a white sandy beach w beautiful, crystal clear water. Amenities galore, tennis, paddle, golf, water sports, hiking trail…. We tried all 3 restaurants and they were all magnificent ( food quality, service, and amazing views). Looking forward to returning again.

We had a particle physics conference here. The folks working on site are super warm and kind. The hotel itself is in a grand location and has all amenities provided for.

Without a doubt one of the best hotels visited. everything perfect, well-kept location, many activities to do.

Fantastic experience. Praise to all the staff, in particular to Giusi for the reception who updated us even last minute to find us accommodation with a beautiful room renovated last year, and also to all the catering staff who make you feel at home and are super nice. Dream beach and services. A place that makes you feel at home and even more, highly recommended.
