The hotel's location is fantastic, right on the slopes. There are several bars and shops on site. The rooms are clean, cleaned daily, and towels are changed. The staff were very friendly. The only downside was the walk from the wing of the building where the rooms were located to the main building for meals. Unfortunately, the steep staircase was almost always dark, and the staff didn't turn on the lights.
The hotel is quiet in the evenings. The cable cars only run until 5 p.m., so returning to the hotel after that time is only possible by car.
Breakfast daily included: yellow cheese, cold cuts, cold hard-boiled eggs, cereal, and jam. The bread was reheated, not fresh. Hot dinners, served by the staff, included several dishes and two soups to choose from.
The weather was sunny, so overall, I consider my stay a success.

We visited the hotel in February 2026 as a group of six friends for 6 nights.
We had paid for extra rooms. The bathroom was renovated and the room also had a small kitchenette. The rooms were tidy, spacious and the heating worked 100%.
I rate the location of the hotel 10 out of 10. The slopes are right in front of the hotel, two chairlifts and one cabin are just a few steps from the room.
The breakfasts were continental and the same all week. There was ham, salami (something like highland), one type of cheese, boiled eggs, butter, nuggets, jams and a can of compote. There were no vegetables. The pastries were croissants without filling and the second type was something between a bun and a muffin. The first two days were quite good, but the rest of the week they were incredibly hard – practically inedible. From Wednesday we ate only croissants, both salty and sweet. There were juices from the machine, coffee, tea and hot chocolate to drink. When the coffee maker worked, the coffee was quite good. After it broke down, we stopped drinking coffee. I rate the breakfast 4 out of 10.
Dinners were buffet style. There was soup and a main course – always a choice of three dishes (pasta, some meat and for the whole week fries, only once was there rice). There was also a salad bar. Dessert was the same cake for the whole week, about twice there was a choice of two types. Ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard and barbecue sauce were free. All drinks (water, beer, wine, sodas) were paid for. I rate the dinner 7 out of 10.
If you can "survive" the breakfast, which you get tired of after two days, the hotel is generally quite nice. The overall impression of the holiday is also significantly improved by the excellent location of the hotel right on the ski slope and the perfect skiing conditions.

We stayed in a standard room at the Girasole Hotel. The room was simple, but clean and tidy, and it was clear that it had been at least partially renovated – for example, the doors looked new. Our towels were changed several times a week. The room was always warm, so it was no problem drying wet things after skiing.
A minor minus was the water in the bathroom. Sometimes it flowed rusty, so you had to let it dry properly. It was also often very hot and poorly regulated – when you turned the tap more to cold, the water stopped flowing. The bed was a little less comfortable, sometimes you could feel the springs, so finding the ideal sleeping position was sometimes more difficult.
I think the breakfasts were rather simple, but there was always something to choose from. There were warm croissants or rolls, ham, salami, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, milk, muesli, compotes and packaged jams, Nutella or honey. There was water to drink and juice, coffee or hot water for tea from the vending machine.
On the other hand, dinners were delicious and I always looked forward to them. There were two soups to choose from, two types of pasta and at least two types of meat. There were also boiled vegetables. There were always fries as a side dish, which may be a minor minus for some. But a big plus was the salad bar - grated carrots, iceberg lettuce, cabbage, small cucumbers, beets, corn, tomato and various dressings. There was always dessert and parmesan cheese to taste with the pasta. Drinks were paid separately (about €5 and it was stated in advance) and only in cash, but card payment was possible at the bar next to the reception.
The ski room was spacious, but we would have appreciated a ski boot heater. You could always find a parking space, but due to the unpaved parking lot, it was muddy at temperatures above zero and it was impossible to walk with dry feet. There was an elevator in the hotel, but it only worked occasionally and just when we needed to take our luggage to the car, it didn't work, which is quite annoying when you have to drag all your stuff up 4 floors.
A huge advantage of the hotel is its location - after climbing about 30 stairs (a kind of morning warm-up) you are right on the ski slope.
A minor disadvantage is that you can hear everything from the hallway to the rooms, so it can be a bit annoying for noisier guests. Wi-Fi is for a fee, but this was stated in advance, so we expected it.
Overall, I would rate the hotel positively - simple but clean accommodation in a great location right by the ski slope with very good dinners.

The structure is a bit old with an excellent location on the ski slopes. The 5-star service is for the very kind Mrs. Mery at the reception, always friendly and helpful.
