The hotel is very nice and clean, located right in the heart of the center with an excellent location. The room was spacious, modern, and spotless. The balcony was a highlight — offering the best view to enjoy. Parking was also available and free, which made things very convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ortisei.

This is the second year in a row we've returned to the Hotel Genziana. The hotel is centrally located and extremely convenient. The rooms are spotless, the breakfasts and dinners are excellent. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. The staff is very kind and helpful. The spa is complete and well-maintained, and the staff is very courteous. Two considerations for improving this little gem: - The spa's opening hours, from 4 to 7 pm, are too restrictive. I personally suggested at least closing at 7:30 pm; most guests are out all day on excursions, and returning around 5:30 pm means they can't enjoy a complete and therefore healthy wellness program. - The outdoor hydromassage pool is nestled in a magnificent garden that gets the sun from morning until 6 pm, so I would recommend opening it at least from 2 pm for those who enjoy the garden and the sun; instead, it opens from 4 pm to 7 pm, like the spa. I hope these suggestions are taken as constructive; I also run a small hospitality business, and when my guests point out improvements, I always welcome them as positive exceptions. A truly wonderful experience. The staff are very kind and friendly. Wonderful is a better word! The restaurant is amazing. Breakfast was brilliant. Overall an amazing experience. I will be forever grateful for being able to travel to this stunning part of Italy. Could not ask for more🇮🇹🇦🇺

Let me preface this: I've stayed at this hotel at least 3-4 times. Excellent location and good facilities. However... During my last booked stay, due to health problems, I almost couldn't leave and reach the hotel. As a loyal customer, I asked if I could move the dates and stay during a period of their choosing, keeping the deposit already paid. The answer was peremptory: I still have to pay for the entire (unused) stay, even if it comes later... It's true that I inadvertently didn't pay for an insurance policy they offered, BUT asking a guest to pay in full for a stay they never used due to certifiable health problems seems EXCESSIVE to me. I don't know if I'll return in the future because I was disappointed by their behavior, and I hope that with tourists who bring in their savings and money, there's a more understandable approach. In the past, hoteliers generally complained about the lack of snow and therefore of winter tourists. Today, the complaints are about summer overtourism. In short, they're never satisfied and, in fact, cling to rules that are too unfavorable for their guests and that have very little empathy! To top it all off, they charged us a truly excessive rate, considering that we opted for bed and breakfast, which was paid almost as much as half board! They only took €10 per day from us! I must also add that the beds were truly unrefreshing, with mattresses as hard as concrete. SORRY...

Highly recommended hotel in Val Gardena. It's family-run, and you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is clean and well-maintained. I also highly recommend the restaurant and bar, even to those who don't stay at the hotel.

We have just returned from staying at this hotel. It was our first time in Ortisei. The hotel is centrally located right in front of the square where the buses stop. The hotel looks very nice and seems to have just been built. Inside we didn't find even a single stain on the walls and the rooms are spacious and well-kept in everything, especially in terms of cleanliness. When we arrived we parked in their garage under the hotel where a member of staff came to get our bags to take them to the room. We were accompanied to our room by the girl at the reception who explained to us how everything worked. The outdoor swimming pool with hydromassage is fantastic, with deck chairs for sunbathing. There are also sofas and chairs where you can have a drink in the evening: obviously there is also space inside in case of bad weather. The dining room is well-structured with excellent food and fantastic staff, very kind and helpful. After dinner we had our usual appointment at the bar with the bartender Nicola with whom we became friends right away: he is very nice and knows how to take a joke! Now let's talk about the wellness center: at the entrance you will find Marlene to welcome you. A very kind girl ready to explain if you need. The Spa has a very spacious indoor pool with loungers to relax. On the other side you can relax with a hydromassage, sauna, Turkish bath, Kneipp path and infrared for the back. We noticed that many guests had already been to this hotel, but we were treated the same way. Another strong point is the guide Lukas, very nice and ready to joke with whom you can go on excursions for both beginners and experts as he manages to organize simplifications in the tour for those who do not walk much. What can I say... very good. CONCLUSION: THE BEST HOTEL FOUND SO FAR WHERE COURTESY AND FRIENDLINESS ARE AT HOME. We will definitely return to this hotel next time.
