Hotel Genziana Ristorante In Ortisei

We have just returned from staying at this hotel. It was our first time in Ortisei. The hotel is centrally located right in front of the square where the buses stop. The hotel looks very nice and seems to have just been built. Inside we didn't find even a single stain on the walls and the rooms are spacious and well-kept in everything, especially in terms of cleanliness. When we arrived we parked in their garage under the hotel where a member of staff came to get our bags to take them to the room. We were accompanied to our room by the girl at the reception who explained to us how everything worked. The outdoor swimming pool with hydromassage is fantastic, with deck chairs for sunbathing. There are also sofas and chairs where you can have a drink in the evening: obviously there is also space inside in case of bad weather. The dining room is well-structured with excellent food and fantastic staff, very kind and helpful. After dinner we had our usual appointment at the bar with the bartender Nicola with whom we became friends right away: he is very nice and knows how to take a joke! Now let's talk about the wellness center: at the entrance you will find Marlene to welcome you. A very kind girl ready to explain if you need. The Spa has a very spacious indoor pool with loungers to relax. On the other side you can relax with a hydromassage, sauna, Turkish bath, Kneipp path and infrared for the back. We noticed that many guests had already been to this hotel, but we were treated the same way. Another strong point is the guide Lukas, very nice and ready to joke with whom you can go on excursions for both beginners and experts as he manages to organize simplifications in the tour for those who do not walk much. What can I say... very good. CONCLUSION: THE BEST HOTEL FOUND SO FAR WHERE COURTESY AND FRIENDLINESS ARE AT HOME. We will definitely return to this hotel next time.

Highly recommended hotel in Val Gardena. It is family run and you immediately feel welcome. Clean and well-kept environment. I also highly recommend the restaurant and bar, even to those people who do not reside at the aforementioned hotel

Prime location, very quiet for being so centrally located. Reception and bar area is modern, warm and welcoming. The rooms, however, are due for renovation. Awful pillows, bed not very comfortable, bathroom probably +20 yrs old. The 4 star standard is rusty, at best. The hallways are less charming than a dorm or institution from the 80’s, with harsch lightning (very typical for Italy - don’t they sell LED with warm-white kelvin or dimmers there at all???). The restaurant is nice, but also suffer from too hard lightning. Bar and restaurant service was good, but someone in the management must seriously look after the staff hygiene. The smell of old sweat and stinky uniforms really can destroy the appetite, both to eat and return as a guest.

Ideally located, in the center of Ortisei. Clean and spacious room, shame about the lack of a coffee and tea maker. Excellent restaurant with a wine cellar worthy of a great palace. Courteous and polite staff, special mention to Luca from the bar. Thank you all

It is the perfect hotel to stay and ski in Ortisei. Elegant, modern, cozy, very good breakfast, the staff's attention is super correct, dinner is different, with five dishes to choose from. The wood decoration is cozy and elegant at the same time. The best is the Spa and the heated outdoor pool. Very close walking distance to the ski lifts and Ortisei Square.
