Hotel Del Viale In Courmayeur

I'm really amused by the reviews about the hotel, which say it's outdated 🤣 You can see how it looks in the photos. It's not a soulless modern place, but a house with soul. It's an OLD house, not a modern Hilton. I loved everything about it: the room on the third floor, the sloping ceilings, the view from the wooden window, the nooks and crannies, the reception. Please don't change a thing!!! And the owner typing, a beautiful thing 🫶

I stayed at the Hotel del Viale from August 18th to 24th. The location is excellent, at the end of Viale Monte Bianco. The shuttle stop is nearby, and the center is about 700 meters away on level ground. The rooms facing the entrance are quiet and peaceful, less so those at the back, which are very close to the road to Val Veny and Ferret and can smell the cooking smells. The owners are very attentive to their guests' needs, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is varied and features fresh produce, and the dinners are decent and well-prepared. Furthermore, after a few days, we asked for a room change, and they accommodated us. The downsides: carpeting almost everywhere, and the bathrooms, which have not been renovated, have no shower. However, it is a highly recommended hotel for the free parking (which is difficult in Courmayeur), and for the professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness. We will be back!
