Positive experience. Impeccable welcome. The owners are exceptional, warm, and family-like. Mariarita, the hostess and excellent chef, offers dishes made with top-quality ingredients. The staff, like her, is equally competent. Mario and his daughter are extremely kind and lovely people. This family and business fully deserve their title of excellence. We'll be back at the first opportunity.

As a couple, we dined, slept, and had lunch at this beautiful hotel, whose entrance is already jaw-dropping with its waterfall. Faustina welcomed us with three different trout carpaccios, each more delicious than the last. This was followed by a second course of tagliatelle with trout ragù and tagliolini with river shrimp, a dish that will leave you dreaming of it all night. The chef's skill is truly respectful of the ingredients, yet manages to infuse flavor into each dish without ever upsetting the balance of flavors. Every dish we ate was the result of traditional recipes updated with so much skill. I'm attaching just one photo of the lunch because we instantly devoured the rest of the dishes due to their aromas and truly inviting appearance. After such a meal and good wine, you can only sleep like babies in their spotlessly clean rooms. Pictured are trout with figs and balsamic vinegar, and trout tartare with lemon oil (spectacular).

I was in Sefro to hike, especially to see the grotto del beato Bernardo di Quintavalle, so the location was excellent for that. The food was great (I had two meals there, in part because it was so good, but also there were no other options as it was a Sunday in October). My room was a but cold, but there were big comfy blankets that kept me plenty warm in the night. It was incredibly quiet with just the sound of the river in the background, so it made for good sleep. I would stay again if I return to hike there.

We arrived in Sefro on Saturday morning and received an EXCELLENT welcome. What can I say about Faustina, an excellent host... we had excellent dinner, the food was excellent, the staff were very welcoming and helpful... then there is Marta, who is incredibly kind... we can't wait to come back, thanks, see you soon...

My partner and I are from Bologna... we happened to pass by and ate well. The place was very welcoming and friendly. If we ever have the chance, we'll be back.

My partner and I were passing through the charming village of Sefro...at the last minute and without warning, we decided to grab a bite to eat at Faustina's. They welcomed us warmly and delighted us with a dinner of river shrimp (an amazing appetizer) and delicious handmade tagliatelle...we also tried the wood-fired pizza (thin and crispy), truly delicious! All this in the cool courtyard, with the sound of the adjacent waterfall in the background. Fair prices, friendly staff, and a very peaceful atmosphere! The icing on the cake was the homemade meloncello they offered us! Recommended!
