I absolutely don't recommend getting the trio of bruschettas for €12 which is really too much, the first courses are good, generous and enjoyable portions, the dessert with Nutella is a good place! It is highly recommended around, in my opinion very overrated and the prices are very high for a tavern in my opinion a little unjustified

Local located in the historic center, near Piazza San Pellegrino, in the medieval heart of Viterbo.
Possibility of eating in the beautiful internal room, but also outside, on the street that leads to Piazza San Pellegrino.
The owner Bruno is very nice and approachable.
Wide choice on the menu, including dishes that satisfy every need. The house wine is recommended, very good, something that normally doesn't happen elsewhere and you only pay for what you consume.
I had an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses of unique abundance. Then I continued the dinner with a shank cooked in beer, cooked to perfection and potatoes as a side dish.
To finish, a sweet and a more than honest bill. Super recommended place.

Nice restaurant, characterized by a medieval setting, in Viterbo in the historic center of the San Pellegrino district. We had dinner with friends but skipped the starter due to the long wait on a Friday. We focused on the supplì (homemade, delicious, with crunchy breading) and then first and second courses or something else. Excellent house wine, but different labels available. Friendly owner, fast and efficient service, quality of traditional food, with the particularity of Roman tripe and grilled porcini mushrooms, not always available.
The visit to the ancient cellar was a noteworthy plus.
