Yesterday, September 19, 2025, we had dinner at Sor Bruno's, where they were courteous and helpful. The food was excellent and of high quality. The owner was friendly and the place was pleasant.

We had dinner on the evening of the feast of Santa Rosa, I highly recommend it for the excellent cuisine, fresh high-quality ingredients, very kind and welcoming owner, furthermore it is located in one of the most suggestive corners of the historic center, easily reachable on foot once you have parked at Porta Romana

Great and tasty food! Italian menu is only available, but luckily we had a guide with us. Big portions, best to share. We loved the carbonara and juicy chicken skewers.

Everything was truly excellent, both in terms of the food, the service, and the ambiance. There was no sign of concern about Diolaiuti's recent Neapolitan romantic turmoil, a sign of the undeniable effectiveness of the consoling efforts of Chiaramonti and Tonarelli.

"L'Hosteria Dal Sor Bruno" is located in the heart of Viterbo, reached by a pleasant stroll through the alleys that exude history.
The restaurant is carved into the rock, with a cave entrance prominently displayed throughout the restaurant. Descending the steps, you can explore the tunnels of a medieval, industrious Viterbo that no longer exists.
The menu offers delicious traditional dishes, including homemade cured meats.
The host is friendly and welcoming, explaining the dishes and offering advice without ever being intrusive—very good!
Despite the packed house, he found time to chat with us at farewell and offer us a house liqueur.
Highly recommended!

Bruno is a true host. He treats his customers with kindness and offers excellent recommendations on dishes, although they can sometimes be a bit too generous. Highly recommended.
