Most delicious food we had in Grassina for sure, enjoyed everything, very peaceful atmosphere, tasteful place, loved the plating! Tuna tartare was super good, as well as the tiramisu :)

Everything was delicious! I recommend trying the tiramisu, it's spectacular.

After a long drive (we were coming from Nice), we exited the highway at lunchtime to avoid being ripped off at the service station and instead grab something traditional. By chance, we stumbled upon Grassina, a hamlet of Bagno a Ripoli, in the main square, and we couldn't have been luckier. There's the Hostaria Pura, run by an immediately friendly couple. From the outside, it's not very appealing—it looks like one of those pretentious, slightly fusion-inspired places. However, once you're seated outside in the back garden, the music changes and you can savor a genuine village atmosphere, confirmed by the traditional dishes, which are plentiful and flavorful. The tortelli alla mugellana and the grilled rooster are noteworthy. The house wine is good, and it's a fair price: €65 for two, including an appetizer, two first courses, a second course, and a half-liter of wine.

The meat was delicious! The tiramisu was perfect! Recommended
