08/09/2025: I'll start by saying that the quality of what we ate was well above the city average, and that certainly deserves recognition. However, it's absolutely not an osteria to charge €25.50 for—I swear, I'm not kidding—two bites of peposo. I found it utterly dishonest, I'm truly sorry to say. On the contrary, the first course was a decent portion, for a rather low price, considering the average for Florence. The service was rather anonymous and somewhat confusing. There was air conditioning, but it wasn't on, and it was very, very hot inside. Ultimately, €70 for an appetizer, a first course, a second course, a quarter of wine, and a liter of water seems excessive to me, considering the name "osteria." It wouldn't have been such an absurd price if the portion of peposo had been just a little larger. Two bites are truly a joke, even if they are delicious.
29/07/2025: Mangiando Mangiando is now a must, whether for a quiet dinner with my husband or for business lunches.
Everything is top-notch: fresh ingredients, carefully prepared and authentic dishes, excellent wine with excellent value.
The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and rich in true knowledge of Florentine and Tuscan cuisine. The service is attentive and knowledgeable, presented with passion and authenticity. It's a restaurant for everyone—welcoming and accessible—but at the same time, it's a true Florentine restaurant, where Florentines don't feel like guests, but at home. An authentic, sincere place. Highly recommended!
