I struggled a lot to find words that could truly represent the emotions I felt sitting at that table.
All the dishes that I had the pleasure of tasting together with my girlfriend were better than the other. When I thought one dish was the best, the next course made me think the same thing as the first.
The dishes convey love and passion for this work. They take you and excite you without you realizing it.
You get it once you walk out the door, making you want to go back in.
The place is very small, located in the historic center of Padua. In that room you find yourself in a pleasant, almost familiar environment.
Stefano himself gave me the idea of being one of the family. A truly wonderful person, who cares about his work and above all his passion.
There are 3 tasting menus, with the addition of one for young people (from 18 to 35 years).
We had a lot of difficulty deciding which of the routes to take, until the chef came to help us.
It is clear from the chef's words and tone that this work has tattooed on his heart.
The chef came to present the dishes to us at the table, still leaving a bit of mystery around each course. Almost as if he wanted us to discover them ourselves. Something I really appreciated.
Each dish was evidently studied and prepared with heart, the restaurant staff is very knowledgeable, selected and prepared by the chef.
Needless to say, I fell in love with those dishes.
Strong but simple flavors, which are all felt on the palate. It's easy to distinguish flavors, even by eating a bite that includes all the ingredients in the dish.
Thank you so much Chef! It was a unique experience, full of surprises and discoveries.

We had lunch in this small restaurant in the center of Padua, trying the "classics" menu with the addition of the (unmissable) grilled oyster.
Accompanied by the kindness and friendliness of
Chef and the highly trained waiter followed the path whose common thread is the use of embers. The dishes, technically impeccably made, really amazed us with the balance of flavors and textures, all with an extra "push" given by the - truly skilful - use of grilling. Note of merit for the "it almost looks like a carbonara" (where a squid cooked at low temperature combined with a salty zabaglione and crunchy bacon give a beautiful reinterpretation of the dish). We will definitely be back, experience

Food, flavours, particular and interesting aromas and absolutely never banal, without however the pretentiousness that often accompanies some restaurants of this level. Tables that allow for conversation, appropriate music and the perfect host.
I cannot fail to mention the mini macarons at the end of the dinner: a truly heavenly experience... Thank you, we will be back!

Wonderful lunch at Padovanino. The cuisine is refined but absolutely concrete. In fact, there is no room for excessive theorisation of cuisine, the customer finds all the tastes and preparations used in the dishes. The welcome was very warm, from table service to chats with chef Stefano to learn more about his journey. My family also tried the wine tasting to accompany the meal and were very satisfied. I don't know which dish to dedicate a special mention to, because they were all a true taste experience, from the "grilled" oyster to the wonderful dessert which I almost felt sorry to eat because of how beautiful it was.
I will definitely return. Thanks to all the staff at Padovanino who, among other things, were very helpful in accommodating the somewhat difficult tastes of my mother who shared this experience with me.

Stefano and his team are the best! I can’t recommend them enough. We made a mistake on our reservation and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Food , wine pairing and service were impeccable. Gracie for the amazing experience.
