Excellent experience from every point of view! The appetizer with fried cake and cured meats was simply delicious: quality products, authentic and well-balanced flavors. The guanciale, very tender, literally melted in the mouth. A special applause to the waitress Giulia, very kind and truly competent: she was able to advise us with professionalism and an ever-present smile. We will definitely be back, highly recommended!

Di passaggio da Fidenza cercavamo una trattoria e recensioni positive ci hanno convinto a provare : scelta azzeccata. Mangiato veramente bene e servizio premuroso cortese e familiare da parte della giovane ragazza. Affettati buonissimi. Così come torta fritta, giardiniera fatta da loro buonissima, e anche i primi ( ravioli al Lambrusco ) veramente gustosi e ben fatti. Promossa a pieni voto. Anche il conto ! Il locale si trova in zona pedonale, accanto al Duomo di Fidenza. Però si trova parcheggio nella vicinissima strada. Se di nuovo di passaggio, ci torneremo sicuramente.

Passing through Fidenza we were looking for a trattoria and positive reviews convinced us to try it: a good choice. The food was really good and the service was attentive, courteous and familiar from the young girl. Delicious cold cuts. As well as fried cake, giardiniera made by them, very good, and also the first courses (Ravioli with Lambrusco) really tasty and well made. Passed with full marks. Even the bill! The restaurant is located in the pedestrian area, next to the Cathedral of Fidenza. However, there is parking in the nearby street. If we pass through again, we will definitely be back!

Il locale dall'esterno non invoglia molto ad entrare, mentre all'interno si presenta come una classica trattoria: rustica e semplice ma accogliente. Il personale cortese e preparato. Il menù prevede piatti tipici della cucina locale, in particolare per quanto riguarda la sezione degli antipasti e dei primi. Bella l'idea di servire il vino all'interno di scodelle, come da tradizione. Servizio veloce al tavolo e prezzi competitivi (€9-10 per i primi piatti). Buono lo strudel di verdure e la torta fritta.

Unfortunately there was a mix-up, the order of our first/second courses was lost, but to make up for it the owner offered us everything we had consumed (starters, excellent wine) plus dessert and coffee. Exemplary behavior. We will return to try what we couldn't taste.

In order not to leave anyone dissatisfied, we must also remember the large choice of excellent loose teas, capable of satisfying even the most demanding British tea lover.
18/12/2024: I've tried many from Parma, and for me Pelco beats them all. I was looking for a slightly sweeter coffee, I found theirs delicious, and now I get it from them. Stop by and you'll appreciate the difference
