Hosteria Moderna Verona In Verona

This restaurant is located in the historic San Zeno neighborhood, just steps from Piazza Corrubio. I had high expectations given the excellent reviews, and I can confirm that the food is excellent. I tried the Hosteria's maccheroncini with basil pesto, confit cherry tomatoes, and stracciatella—delicious—followed by a delicious slice of picanha. I asked for it to be medium rare; the meat was tender, flavorful, and juicy, melting in the mouth. I also ordered cheese croquettes and their homemade giardiniera. Giardiniera is usually filled with vinegar, which makes it hard to swallow, and the vegetables are very tough. However, this giardiniera was delicious, just the right amount of oil, and the vegetables were tender. For dessert, I recommend the chef's vices, consisting of a vanilla-flavored tobacco mousse and a chocolate cigar. Everything arrived quickly, and the staff was all friendly, making me feel right at home. I'll be back to try some of the good burgers. Furthermore, for those who love collecting, motors and memorabilia, this restaurant is a real gem: you can find model motorcycles, vintage paintings, Alfa Romeo and Kawasaki watches, the nose of a Fiat 500, various memorabilia and a wonderful red Ducati motorbike.

A welcoming location and knowledgeable, friendly, and very pleasant staff. The menu is extensive and carefully curated, offering sophisticated dishes that will keep you coming back. Highly recommended for lovers of good meat!

I went for dinner, I didn't know this place Hosteria and a spacious place very characteristic inside with a menu that ranges from first courses to fried foods and hamburgers... but you can't miss trying the grilled Galletto marinated in beer, a delicacy.

Visited this restaurant 3 times and had such a lovely experience each time! The food was gorgeous and such a lovely selection of wine. It made our visit to Verona so memorable! We want to go back just so we can eat there again!

Abbiamo ordinato due hamburger, una tagliata di pichaña e gli ziti con il ragú della nonna. La carne e gli hamburger ottimi e cotti alla perfezione, peccato per gli ziti che erano quasi crudi e la carne che la componeva non aveva un buon gusto. Nulla si può dire invece dei dolci, abbiamo preso un semifreddo al pistacchio e cioccolata e i vizi dello chef, ottimo e super golosi. Personale gentile e professionale sopratutto il ragazzo di cui ora purtroppo mi sfugge il nome. Ambiente moderno e giovanile, birra ottima.
