It's been a while since I've been back to Hosteria Moderna because I've had some bad experiences. A colleague of mine who's been there told me they've improved, so I decided to try it and I was very satisfied! Good food, decent portions, fast service, and a fair price.

Beautiful restaurant, the owner, Fabio, is very welcoming and friendly. The food is truly top-notch. The price is reasonable and the quality excellent. Highly recommended.

30/03/2026: I went for a family lunch. Living nearby, I'd never been there before. The atmosphere was very basic from the outside, but the inside was quite well-kept and simple. The staff were friendly and helpful. They started us off with a small non-alcoholic aperitif and an entrée (creamed cod). I opted for an appetizer and a first course (I asked for seconds, given the deliciousness of the dish). Then came dessert and coffee sorbet. Everything was delicious. Perhaps the dishes were a bit small. But I left satisfied. Pizza is available for lunch. Conclusion: good. I'll be back to try the pizza. Advice: best to book.

Pizza Shop

19/03/2026: I can't help but stop at the Pizza Shop anymore. Every time I get home late from work, I find a wide selection of takeout pizzas. They're always generously topped; the round pizza, rather than the usual slices, is my go-to, not to mention the prices, which are decidedly competitive with other pizzerias in the area.
