Just outside the city center, easy parking, and a good, average dinner. Pricey, however.

I went there for two nights during my stay in Padua and had the opportunity to try various dishes, both burgers and other dishes. They were all delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff were very friendly.

This place is phenomenal, excellent selection of alcohol, including a baby grand piano covered with rum options from around the world. Staff goes above and beyond and they are extremely proud of their Sardinian food and beverage. Burgers were huge and delicious. Can’t say enough about how much we loved this place. We even went back the next evening!

Very good humburger we arrive late from venezia aitport and we come to the restaurant it was 22:30 about and the Italian man from Sardenia suggested for us a 2 hamburgers it was so gentle from his side with the young lady from Marrocco she speak good Italian and English greetings from Finland & Saudi Arabia & Tunisia

We chose Hosteria Moderna after reading the numerous positive reviews, which is why we had high expectations. Unfortunately, however, our experience was far from what we expected. When we arrived, the place was almost completely empty, with very few tables occupied. We were greeted by a waitress who immediately struck us as rather cold and unfriendly, seating us without much attention to the customer. The first thing that left us perplexed was when ordering drinks. We had chosen a beer from the menu, but were simply told it wasn't available and that only draft beer was available. No one, however, explained to us what options were available or their prices, leaving us to choose practically blindly. The menu also seemed rather confusing. It's difficult to discern the place's true identity: some dishes resemble a traditional osteria, others a pub, while other offerings seem to draw on different regional cuisines, with influences ranging from Sardinia to Veneto and other parts of Italy. Overall, there's no clear line. As for the food, we ordered a burger with fries, which was enjoyable and well-executed. The chicken tenderloin with potatoes, however, was much less convincing: the meat was bland, lacking any particular flavor, and, above all, it didn't seem cooked properly. Unfortunately, the service didn't help improve the experience either. Throughout the dinner, we felt little attention was paid to the customer, and on one occasion, our plates were placed on the table rather roughly, a detail that inevitably contributed to the overall impression. We spent about €50 for two people, a figure that, considering the overall experience, didn't satisfy us. When paying in cash, we were only given a preliminary bill, without being immediately issued a receipt; certainly an oversight. Overall, we left the restaurant with more doubts than certainties. It's a shame, because expectations were high, but between the unwelcoming service, an unclear menu, and inconsistent cuisine, our experience didn't live up to the reputation this place seems to have.

Nice place, kind staff, good food and tasty aperol!

A nice, pleasant, and quaint place. Almost all of us had sandwiches and were pleasantly surprised. The price was reasonable; the only downside was the somewhat slow service.

I went to this restaurant yesterday while staying at the Savhotel Mantegna, and we had a great time. In addition to a burger joint with a wide selection of high-quality food, which my daughter was happy with, they also serve Sardinian dishes. Everything was good, and the prices were reasonable. A tip... the waitress could be a little more cheerful.

The atmosphere is very nice for me, it's memorable, the food is good but not a 6 experience, no more. The service is good, well done girls.

I went for lunch with some colleagues. The place was really nice and had a lot of choices. The burger was amazing, the pizza was excellent, and there was a great selection of spirits and wine. TOP! Friendly staff. Well done!
