An overall decent experience, but with several areas for improvement. We had lunch on Sunday at La Tana del Coniglio in Piazza San Pietro in Villaricca, having made a reservation a few days earlier. Upon arrival, however, the table wasn't yet available, and we were initially informed that there was no reservation in our name. Fortunately, the situation was resolved after a few minutes, but the welcome wasn't the best. Once seated, we discovered the fixed price menu was €35 per person, a piece of information that would have been preferable to have been informed when booking. The appetizer was served on a round tray with aluminum foil at the bottom—a poorly presented and not in line with expectations for a menu in this price range. Next came two appetizers: Genovese, well-prepared and highly appreciated, and bucatini with rabbit, which, however, was more reminiscent of a cacciatore sauce than an Ischian one, falling a bit short of expectations, especially considering it's the restaurant's signature dish. For the main course, a mixed grill (white meat, sausage, and mini skewers), also served on a tray covered in aluminum foil and at a warm temperature. A presentation on hot lava stone would certainly have made the dish more appealing. Next came some grapes served in a steel bowl over ice, and to finish, slices of fruit and chocolate tart accompanied by aromatic semifreddo cream liqueurs. Wine, water, and soft drinks were included in the price. The wait between courses was quite long, but the staff was courteous and helpful throughout. Overall, a decent lunch, with some positive aspects, but also several details that could be improved: the presentation of the dishes, the timing of the service, and the quality-price ratio, considering that €35 per person, especially for a family, seems a bit excessive for the offering.

Good food, excellent service, I ordered bucatini all'ischitana, they were delicious, very helpful staff, the only flaw was the bathrooms were a bit dirty

Excellent restaurant/osteria where you can enjoy delicious traditional Neapolitan and Ischian food. The Ischian-style rabbit is top-notch, and the antipasti platter is endless! Thank you, Raffaele, for your wonderful welcome; you made us feel right at home!

Happy Sunday everyone, I'm a chef and my name is Tony Bistrot Naples. I opened several restaurants. I made my childhood dream of being a chef at Aunt Teresa's in Mergellina and I succeeded. I learned on the job. I've worked with external companies in my own companies and I've always held my head high in the kitchen, which is a lot of sacrifice. I'm not a keyboard warrior to write useless comments. In this location, I found excellent service. I have a simple waitress called Loredana who made me feel at home. As I propose in other restaurants, I'm opening an excellent kitchen with my team, but I need to review the team a bit technically. I'm looking for advice on company technique and training the dining room staff. A restaurant that gives attack and deserves sacrifices. I wish you all the best. It's not the first time I've come to your restaurant. I'm happy to come. I know the boss, the ingredients, and how I would prepare them. I've been pouring my blood into a kitchen for 30 years, all over Italy and abroad. I'm part of a group and I know what to say about the sacrifices of a kitchen. I'm not a normal customer. Ci ho festeggiato la mia Laurea il giorno 29 di Aprile, ero chiaramente troppo distratto per una recensione, ma ora posso esprimermi. Il posto esteticamente non sembra granché, l'arredamento "agricoltura style" si sposa con l'ideologia del posto, ma per gusti personali non lo reputo "bello". Discorso completamente diverso per ciò che riguarda il cibo e la professionalità dello staff, che ha saputo consigliarci e in più di un'occasione ha mostrato interesse chiedendo di eventuali allergie e/o venendoci incontro su alcune richieste "fuori menu". Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, poco da dire. Un antipasto, un tris di primi e una grigliata con patate per secondo, e vi dico solo che abbiamo chiesto dei vassoi per portarci via gli esuberi (nota positiva, lo permettono e sono contro gli sprechi!). Un'esperienza all'insegna dell'indubbia qualità e della convivialità, ad un prezzo decisamente onesto. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente. P.S. Non so se avrete mai modo di leggere questa recensione, ma grazie, avete contribuito a rendere ancora più speciale il giorno della mia Laurea ❤️

dopo aver visitato le altre sedi delle hosteria quella di pozzuoli ha fatto veramente la differenza sia per la chef che ci ha deliziato con un buon bucatino con il coniglio e Michele ci ha deliziato con la sua gentilezza consiglio per chi e amante del coniglio ischitano di andarli a trovare .

We recently celebrated a family gathering for 15 people before my son’s wedding, and Nico and his incredible staff absolutely outdid themselves. The food was exceptional — every course was full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of joy; everyone enjoyed every single minute of being there. I’ve known Nico for over 20 years, and he continues to be the best manager of any restaurant we’ve visited in Florence. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to every detail make every experience at Osteria dell’Olio special. He and his team made our entire group feel so welcome and cared for. Beyond the amazing food, what truly made the evening unforgettable was Nico himself. He does his job with his whole heart, and it shows in every interaction. His warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness turned a wonderful meal into a night we will never forget. ❤️ This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars.
