29/10/2024: Excellent pizza tastings, excellent panna cotta and dry biscuits with vin santo; beautiful location on the slopes of Mount Nerone.

22/10/2024: stop at the restaurant for a special menu with truffles. Linked to the hotel, it is a must for travelers due to its location at the crossroads for the road that goes up to Monte Nerone. Even though it was very crowded, there was precise service with attentive and friendly staff. The menu included various appetizers from polenta skewer to omelette with truffle, followed by exquisite passatelli with truffle fondue and duck gnocchi. For second courses, an excellent fillet with porcini mushrooms was offered, followed by a tasty rabbit in porchetta and a very tender baked lamb. Side dish of sanded potatoes and salad. Sweet, trifle, a worthy conclusion to an excellent 70s menu but truly well executed. Portions not abundant I would have expected at least a hint of refresher. Advised?
