Hosteria del Tamiso In Foligno

I had the pleasure of organizing an anniversary dinner at Tamiso restaurant, and I couldn't say it was a better choice. The patience and dedication of the owner and his staff ensured that all my requests were met from day one until the party was held. My guests are still remembering the evening days later. The quality food always satisfied us, from the appetizers onwards, and a special mention must be made of the supreme tiramisu, which provided a sweet ending to the evening. Thank you so much!

A restaurant with a beautiful location and from which one had only good expectations... but unfortunately they were disappointed, first of all because there is only one waiter who runs between all the tables and then... the cuisine... based on the two dishes of amatriciana in which one could only taste the onions (which shouldn't even be there) and seasoned with a sauce that frankly seemed like a ready-made sauce (as also on the plate of simple tomato gnocchi).... truly disappointing....

I've only been to this place for a short while, but it made such a good impression on me that I've been there several times over the past few months, both for pizza and a full lunch. So far, I'd say the food is good, with a variety of options, and the service is good.

The location is very nice, good pizza, courteous and attentive service, friendly owner, average prices.

Nice, the first course was very good, I didn't like the second course (meat) which was cold, compliments to the good service.

The setting is warm and welcoming, in a scenic Villa that alone deserves to be seen, especially at night: Villa Candida. This Hosteria (which offers various traditional Umbrian dishes on the menu) offers varied types of pizza, good and tasty. Careful service. Fair prices. Recommended!
