Restaurant found by chance while wandering around the old town of Sorano.
We preferred to sit outside, where the view is wonderful and the background is that of a flowing river.
A special mention for Alessandro, the waiter; when I had doubts about sitting outside due to the presence of possible mosquitoes, he immediately brought mosquito spray. Kind and attentive.
The platter of cold cuts, cheeses and bruschetta was very good.
The first courses were exquisite
The quality/price ratio was very good.

Highly recommended; even the walk to the restaurant is an experience. We sat outside on the covered terrace, where you have a fantastic view. It's typically Tuscan and very good.

It was exciting to discover this restaurant with a nice view of the mountains. Nice menu, food. There is a terrace but we couldn't be there because everything was wet because of the rain.
The tiny thing i would suggest, is not to offer truffle if it is not season. Because I had a tagliatelle truffle and it was no flavor what so ever. Although it was a good quality pasta...

Unfortunately we discovered it the day before leaving, I would have liked to try many other dishes on the menu if I happen to be in the area again I will definitely return.

The place is already worth the detour in itself. But when you are also welcomed by the owner in the kitchen and taken care of by Alessandro, it is pure happiness. Simple dishes made with very good local products, grape varieties recommended by Alessandro, without forgetting to finish with the torta alle mele della bis nonna!!! To do again

Un borgo tanto affascinante quanto spopolato in un dedalo di stradelli e scalinate talvolta impegnative. Ma vale la pena, per la località e per l’impegno per trovare questa caratteristica osteria. Pici fatti in casa al morellino e tagliatelle con farina di castagne al ragù di cinta o di anatra. Ottimo anche il peposo in bianco. Fagioli, lenticchie e ceci della zona. Ottimi dolci. Ciliegiolo rosso ben ha accompagnato il tutto. Molto valido.

Esperienza interessante, nel centro storico di Sorano ,arrivarci di sera attraverso il paesino deserto , su e giù per le scale con la luce flebile , cibo buono tipico
