Very nice place typical of the villages but with the characteristic of having inside a splendid mini gallery that leads to an old cellar used in ancient times as a food storage warehouse given its stable temperature in all seasons, dug by hand inside
or the tuff rock, very beautiful and can be visited, friendly and helpful staff, right price for excellent quality products cooked with skill, if you happen to be in these parts it deserves a nice lunch stop.

Typical little place immersed in the splendid village of Sorano. Typical Tuscan cuisine, quick and friendly service, special location. Be careful of the countless steps, but otherwise it's absolutely worth it

Welcoming place, helpful and courteous staff to the point that, even though the place was full, with a bit of a wait the manager still accommodated us by letting us have dinner. We enjoyed it very much. Excellent food.

Suggestive environment if you manage to get a table on the terrace, excellent food, terrible service, rude and hasty waiter, the hospitality of the room needs to be improved for the rest we are there.

Very characteristic restaurant with local specialities, both the first and second courses are good. My husband had the Cinta Senese ribs and they were very tasty!

Amazing and relaxing view. Excellent food and value for money. Absolutely worth trying are fettuccine in chestnut flour with wild boar ragout. Not reachable by car but with a characteristic walk through the old alleys of the town. Highly recommended

Locato nella Sorano vecchia, scendendo diverse scalinate incerte si arriva all'Hosteria del Borgo. Se possibile,tempo permettendo, pranzare all'esterno sulla terrazza che da' sulle balze di tufo e boschi. Menu nella tradizione toscana maremmana (tagliatelle, pici, pappardelle, carpaccio, agnello, tagliata) sughi ai funghi, cinghiale, salsiccia e cosi' via). Preso: carpaccio di manzo, pici al sugo di porcini e salsiccia, tagliatelle di castagne con sugo di porcini e salsiccia, funghi fritti (la pastella un po' spessa e si staccava copre il sapore dei funghi, forse la frittura tipo tempura, anche se non ortodossa maremmana, potrebbe aiutare ). Nella media. Discreto il vino rosso locale.

Prenotato attratti dalle recensioni positive in occasione di un giro tra Sorano e Pitigliano, abbiamo trovato un posto spettacolare con una vista splendida su una forra dove scorre un torrente immerso nel verde. Antipasto di formaggi, salumi e crostini gustosissimo, una fettuccina con farina di castagne, salsiccia e funghi porcini e un'altra con ragù di cinghiale in bianco, entrambe spettacolari! Conto assolutamente giusto. Torneremo sicuramente con amici sia per il posto che soprattutto per il cibo buonissimo. Bellissima e suggestiva anche la cantina scavata nel tufo. Complimenti!
