Excellent, recommended, prices... a little high!

An enchanting corner of nature, authentic flavors, and happy cats We ate at this restaurant in Sorano, and the very arrival was part of the experience: a pleasant, truly evocative stroll through the village. The panoramic terrace, overlooking the cliff, offers a breathtaking view that perfectly complements the atmosphere. We had a wonderful time: the restaurant is welcoming, the staff friendly, polite, and very helpful. The view of the valley is splendid, and what we especially enjoyed was eating surrounded by nature, in the company of the village cats. They approach discreetly, without disturbing us; in fact, their presence was an added bonus for us, a small pleasure that warmed our hearts. We loved it so much that, after the first visit, we couldn't resist: we returned the following day! A great highlight is the homemade pasta, a hallmark of the local cuisine. The cacio e pepe pici are simply delicious, but the venison ragù also won us over: intense, flavorful, truly magical. We ate and drank wonderfully, and the value for money was more than fair. Impeccable service, excellent cuisine, and a unique atmosphere: a place we'll definitely be happy to return to. It left us with wonderful memories.

A very pleasant place with the option of enjoying meals on the terrace with a spectacular view. The table service was very satisfactory, and we also enjoyed a menu featuring typical local dishes (the usual Pici or meat dishes) as well as soups and legumes. This certainly sets them apart from many other restaurants in the area. The only complaint, perhaps, is the price-to-quantity ratio. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Very nice, very tasty. It would be absolutely perfect. My only wish would be hot plates so the food stays warm longer. Regular menus would also be nice (no QR codes). People are already on their phones often enough these days.

A very special place inside a cave. The food was exquisite: tagliatelle with Maremma ragù, which was proof of God's existence. Well done, congratulations.

Fantastic views of the tuff hills facing Sorano. The restaurant's terrace is magnificent, as are the interiors, featuring recesses in the tuff. Excellent food, efficient service, and a reasonable bill.

Excellent cacio e pepe, good bruschetta and nice views

Abbiamo pranzato in un giorno feriale in questo angolo di paradiso. La location è di una bellezza struggente con la terrazza che offre una vista in primo piano sul fiume lente e il paesaggio intatto dei dintorni soranesi. Ma anche il locale interno dispone di sale accoglienti e curate. Il cibo tipico toscano parla da sé. Abbiamo assaggiato l'antipasto del borgo con affettati e formaggi accompagnati da una salsina di mele e i mitici crostini tra cui quelli con tartufo. Poi i tortelli con ripieno di ricotta ed erbette davvero delicati..con il ragù e con una crema cacio e pepe molto intrigante. Infine la trippa e una tagliata accompagnata dal lardo di colonnata, noci e miele. Un'esperienza da ripetere senz'altro e in tutte le stagioni

Un borgo tanto affascinante quanto spopolato in un dedalo di stradelli e scalinate talvolta impegnative. Ma vale la pena, per la località e per l’impegno per trovare questa caratteristica osteria. Pici fatti in casa al morellino e tagliatelle con farina di castagne al ragù di cinta o di anatra. Ottimo anche il peposo in bianco. Fagioli, lenticchie e ceci della zona. Ottimi dolci. Ciliegiolo rosso ben ha accompagnato il tutto. Molto valido.
