...there are no red carpets......but certainly one of the last truly Roman places left......excellent food, Italian chefs and staff, affordable prices......I recommend it to everyone

Trattoria from times gone by. You enter and you feel at home, as if you were a guest of an uncle in Rome who asks you: "What do you want today?"
Nice that places like this still exist. Besides that, Cacio e Pepe and Gricia were delicious.

An ancient Roman tavern like no other, the atmosphere is more spartan but the food and hospitality are five stars. We ate some hand-made sagne with artichoke and finger-licking bacon. Excellent rabbit hunter style. Very kind and welcoming hosts

The real Roman tavern you're looking for but it's not easy to find.
Excellent classic first courses: carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe. Last time the artichoke and bacon tonnarelli surprised us.
The chicory prepared "my way" with anchovies, pecorino and Taggiasca olives were really good.
I go there with the basketball team, after the games, very hungry and the portions are always generous.
Price? We always leave happy.

Simple and genuine place where Roman tradition reigns supreme.
I recommend it for the goodness of the dishes.
I confirm what was written previously, the breaded slices are the house specialty.
Puntarelle.....the best I've ever eaten.

Io so romana de Roma cresciuta da nonni Romani, carbonara buona, ma le spuntature al sugo non sono romane buona cottura della carne ma sembrano fatte con un sugo cotto a parte perché il sugo non sapeva di carne e cosa peggiore il sugo delle spuntature dietetico senza grasso galleggiante non è Romano, pasta guanciale e carciofi decente non ho mangiato male però non tornerei la cucina romana che piace a me è quella vera grassa pesante originale secondo me in cucina non c'è un romano DOC
