Hosteria Croce d'Oro In Desenzano del garda

Looked for a non-touristic dinner in "Desenzano del Garda" And this the place! A true family-run restaurant outside the tourist hot zone. Original, italian and true. The Tuna filet was just perfect, juicy, tasty and large!! My wife enjoyed her Fish 100% The local wine succested by the restaurant was spot on!!

Wow, a crazy little place, a must for anyone passing through the area, local food and wine at low prices

We loved our meal at Hosteria Croce D’Oro. The pasta was made fresh and the service was very welcoming and friendly. Would say that this restaurant is slightly more traditional or authentic than what is available right in the centre of Desenzano, but that was exactly what we were after. Considering it is only an 8-10min walk out from the centre you must try!

Best food I had in Italy. I wish I had tried this place earlier so I could have tasted everything on menu.

Charming and authentic osteria with unique and amazingly delicious dishes and fantastic service! We ate Sunday lunch here on our last full day in Desenzano and I only wish we had gone earlier in our stay because we certainly would have returned! We had a delicious antipasto with bresaola, arugula and cheese. We followed this up with some of their local house wine and two amazing slow cooked dishes- one with venison the other with wild boar and both were absolutely amazing (sorry I forgot to take a photo because it looked so delicious!!). And to end we had amazing tiramisu and panna cotta with espresso. I should note that they also had a wide variety of pasta dishes for those who may not want to try wild boar or venison. Lastly I will mention that the very nice lady who served us (who I think was the owner) was amazing! She perfectly timed thr service and made us feel very welcome and not rushed at all. This little gem is absolutely worth the short walk up from the lakefront!!

Un posto pulito, tranquillo in una zona tranquilla fuori dal caos centrale. Siamo stati molto bene. Il mio piccolo consiglio, magari una musica in sottofondo. In alcuni momenti ci sembrava di fare troppo rumore, nella sala troppo silenziosa. Tutte le pietanze scelte, di ottima qualità. Confortevole anche la toilette, che personalmente è importante. Ci è sembrato un tantino caro, però, considerando la qualità delle materie prime, è okay così. Esperienza positiva

Bien revisado, así que lo intenté. Una verdadera subida desde el litoral. Servicio bastante apresurado. Raviolis y pescado sabroso. Bastante consentido por tener grandes grupos masculinos dominando la habitación. Mejores opciones, incluyendo el excelente Allá Stella.
