Seeing the reviews of other users, I probably was unlucky, the quality of the dishes and the service is not consistent with the prices offered in my opinion. The tuna steak was a piece of whole tuna cooked on the grill, perhaps the worst I have ever tasted, my advice is to remove it from the menu.

A true golden hosteria!
We ate some truly delicious dishes, rich in flavor and homemade. Congratulations to the kitchen!
Impeccable service. Attentive, very friendly and above all very knowledgeable about the wines, digestives and dishes on their menu and in their cellar.
Enchanting location, attention to detail and very intimate.
I highly recommend! We will definitely return if we pass through Desenzano.

We ate at this Hosteria inspired by the positive reviews. Rustic tavern-style atmosphere, friendly but reserved staff.
Indeed, the cuisine did not disappoint our expectations: the first courses were delicious with homemade pasta, as were the second courses (we took the sliced beef with radicchio cream and roe deer morsels with polenta). Real compliments to the chef! Wine list with lots of choice.
Compared to the quality-price ratio, also taking into account the rustic environment that has been deliberately maintained (straw chairs, simple disposable style tablecloth, proximity of the tables) I expected less than the €18 of the first ones, but it probably affects the be in a tourist location.

We came across this restaurant by chance. The service was very nice and accommodating. The food was very tasty and we were recommended a very good wine. This year too we went to the Hosteria for dinner twice and were not disappointed. The food and service were great.

Well-kept place, excellent service, excellent food, well-made dishes, I am also able to serve foreigners, speaking English and German correctly, a wide choice of wines, a clean bathroom not to be underestimated, kindness of the house, therefore I strongly recommend it.

It was our first time there and we got a table even though we hadn't made a reservation. However, we got there very early and were lucky because it filled up quickly. Best to reserve. The service was very friendly and competent. We had a starter, a second course and dessert. Everything was excellent. We definitely have to go back here.
