A family-run restaurant with very kind and helpful owners, offering a limited selection of dishes, all of which are excellent. I recommend both the traditional local first and second courses. The food is homemade, and the portions are generous. I will definitely be back.

Hosteria 17 is a little gem in Verona: an intimate and welcoming venue, where a warm atmosphere blends with cuisine that celebrates Venetian tradition with passion and attention to detail. We sampled the creamy and delicate cod, the smoked ricotta served on a bed of sautéed radicchio—an extraordinary combination—and the fresh and light shrimp salad with cherry tomatoes and arugula. Next up was the tagliatelle with wild boar, rich and flavorful, reminiscent of the authentic flavors of yesteryear. A special thanks also to the staff: always kind, smiling, and helpful, they help make the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit for those who want to experience Verona through its flavors.

Me gustó mucho el ambiente relajado en este restaurante, con un ambiente muy local. El personal era acogedor y eficiente. La comida era de buena calidad y sabrosa. Los precios eran muy razonables para la calidad.

07/10/2025: The service from the servers was excellent. We appreciate their attentiveness and friendly service. However, the food fell short of our expectations. The meat was served raw, and we had to ask for it to be cooked twice. One of those times, it was still undercooked. We believe this needs improvement.

11/09/2025: I went with my wife. The food was good and the service was good, but given its reputation, I honestly expected more. The wow factor was lacking in both the service and the decor (obviously, it's a matter of personal taste, but the plastic chairs certainly aren't). We ordered the wine, but it wasn't even tasted, simply poured into glasses, with no explanation of the wine list. In short, for a Michelin-recommended restaurant, I expected more. It must be said that the price of the dinner was very respectful. I expected it to be higher.
08/09/2025: Locanda 4 Cuochi serves excellent Italian cuisine. If you're visiting the Arena in Verona, the restaurant is ideally located. It's only a three-minute walk to the entrance! However, that's not the reason we liked the restaurant so much; it's more about the incredibly good food at reasonable prices and the very attentive and friendly service. If we're ever in Verona again, we won't miss the opportunity to visit this excellent restaurant!
