Incredible. Visiting Verona from Australia. Hosteria 17 was up the road from our hotel. The food, the atmosphere, the service. 10 out of 10. It’s family owned and operated. I believe a Mother, father and son, running everything - the sweetest most pure people. If you are in Verona, do yourself and favour and come visit.

Location close to the centre, therefore convenient for visiting the historic centre, it is located a few steps from Castelvecchio. Friendly and helpful staff. Small well furnished room, few seats, it is advisable to book. We ordered the creamed cod (excellent) with roasted polenta as a starter. For first courses we ordered ravioloni with amarone, gnocchi with duck ragout and lasagna with asparagus and cheese, all excellent. We ordered the cheese cake for dessert, which was also excellent. The right portions. Compliments to the tavern's cuisine. Highly recommended! Little gem was named Italian excellence in 2020!

Me gustó mucho el ambiente relajado en este restaurante, con un ambiente muy local. El personal era acogedor y eficiente. La comida era de buena calidad y sabrosa. Los precios eran muy razonables para la calidad.
