A true marvel. The host's expertise and kindness are astonishing. Even without a reservation, there's no problem getting a seat. The appetizers and fried dishes are excellent. The pajata is truly delicious, and the wild boar ragù is a real treat. Highly recommended, worth returning to, and definitely worth trying the entire menu.

Discovered thanks to the Sky program, Marcello and his restaurant are a testament to this. Everything you see on TV is real: excellent food, a true neighborhood osteria atmosphere, and the warm welcome of a friendly and kind Roman host.

A historic neighborhood trattoria that hasn't lost its edge over the years. The menu is perfectly in line with the restaurant's image, and Marcello perfectly embodies the role of the host who entertains, advises, and guides patrons. All the traditional dishes are present, and those we tried were delicious and well-prepared. Fried appetizers like fillet steak and zucchini blossoms were absolutely not greasy. The Cacio e Pepe passed with flying colors. The Roman-style artichoke was perfectly cooked and accompanied by more than enough olive oil. The dessert to finish was not ordinary and delicious. Want to talk about prices? Very fair.
A decent selection of wines, with a focus on regional wines.
The coffee is not bad, which is a compliment, considering it's generally impossible to find a good espresso in restaurants.
I'll gladly return and highly recommend it.

I tried it on Saturday for lunch, and after about a week, I've already felt the sometimes overwhelming urge to try other dishes on site.
Even though I'm a human being and even had a half-full glass spilled, the staff was quick to recover, restoring the table and wine-soaked items. Furthermore, the care and attention shown to me and the other diners was unwavering throughout, throughout every course, from start to finish. The dishes are truly fantastic, the portions just right, and the desserts demonstrated the artisanal craftsmanship and freshness of the ingredients. Last night, I pulled a commercially produced crème brulee from the fridge that absolutely couldn't compete with it, and I remembered to leave a certificate here, having just returned from the culinary experience where I tasted the one prepared by the expert hands of the owner, to whom I offered my heartfelt compliments. My hope is to reply as soon as possible!

We went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday with a group of colleagues, and we were all thrilled with the quality of the food, which is not a given, and especially with the fact that everything was homemade. We enjoyed everything, from appetizers to desserts. The wait times were more than acceptable, especially considering there were several tables.
Nothing to say about the staff: unfortunately, we don't know the names of the waiters to leave a personalized review, but both were very professional, as well as friendly, polite, and always available. I only have a photo of the carbonara 😂 because it was one of the dishes we ordered most and we loved it. Everything was delicious, we'll definitely be back!
