Nice restaurant in the historic center of Rapallo. Excellent service, welcoming location, fresh raw materials but excessively small portions with high prices. We got up with the hunger satisfied with a pizza immediately after. 90 euros for two microscopic appetizers, an unseasoned grilled vegetable and a tartare is really too much and unjustified. I'm sorry I felt like a chicken to be plucked. The 3 stars are therefore for this reason.

My wife and I had the most amazing dinner. Anchovies and potatoes and pesto sauce for an appetizer. My wife had clams and home made pasta. I had the best cut of steak I have had “ever”. I travel the world for work and this place is a ten. Christiano was a true professional and one great host. We will be back.

Very nice and welcoming place in the center of Rapallo, a stone's throw from the sea. Even though we hadn't booked, we were welcomed kindly and with kindness. Trained and courteous staff, I liked it. We stopped for a quick lunch, so we only had some fried artichokes (very good, tender and crunchy) and some trofie with pesto, nice and full-bodied and enveloping. For my personal taste they were missing a little salt, but I made up for it by adding a few spoonfuls of parmesan cheese. I will gladly go back on my next visit to Rapallo, perhaps with a little more appetite to try other dishes. Prices perhaps higher than average, the trofie with pesto, which on average are around €12, cost €18 here, but they are good.

Hostaria Vecchia Rapallo, a warm and elegant environment. Every detail seems to have been taken care of down to the smallest detail. The service staff is very kind. After choosing the dishes, we began to savor these delicatessens, starting with the fried artichokes, and moving on to a first course of tagliatelle, also based on artichokes. A Milanese cutlet and to finish an excellent homemade dessert. All very good and well plated. All for the modest sum of 48 euros per person. An excellent value for money. If I really have to make a completely constructive criticism, I recommend some slightly larger portions. And so I set off again, always in search of the food and wine excellences of our beautiful country. See you soon my dear readers.

We had dinner with family, two adults and two girls, they were super courteous and the menu was truly remarkable, everything was delicious. Very good seasonal artichoke-based menu. Special fish soup! Obviously also the trofie with pesto with green beans and potatoes are really good. I absolutely recommend, drink the local white Vermentino that it deserves. Compliments!

Sono stato a cena con mia moglie la sera di giovedì 21/11 . Il ristorante è sito in una piccola vietta vicino al Best Western Tigullio e al lungomare . Locale molto carino con travi a vista e tavoli in legno molto belli . Antipasti davvero buoni . La cotoletta di mia moglie impanata davvero bene . Non unta e carne deliziosa . I miei spaghetti alle vongole con bottarga portata a parte ( ottimo così uno decide la quantità che vuole ) davvero OTTIMI ! La pasta era al dente e gli spaghetti non colavano olio....anzi credo di non aver mai mangiato un piatto così buono in vita mia ! Il conto alla fine giusto . Per essere in un posto turistico a novembre direi veramente giusto ! CONSIGLIO vivamente e ci ritorneremo senz'altro . Grazie

Ristorante curato e con servizio e apparecchiatura di buon livello. Ci siamo trovati molto bene anche se, a ristorante pieno per 3/4, l'attesa è stata superiore alla media. Si mangia davvero bene e ci sono sia piatti della tradizione ligure che altri di cucina varia ma sempre di ottimo livello. Il pesce ci è sembrato freschissimo e i carciofi fritti meritano una menzione particolare. Ciò che non fa meritare il punteggio massimo è la media dei prezzi (anche per birra, acqua e vino) che sono sempre qualche euro oltre la logica dei ristoranti di questo tipo. Inoltre se il gestore (alla cassa) spendesse un sorriso e una parola in più invece che essere l'unico del locale a apparire poco simpatico non sarebbe male. Comunque consigliato e consigliata la prenotazione.
