Wonderful restaurant. Attentive service without being intrusive. If you want to experience and taste Italy, this is the place for you. We are a retired couple on a five-month tour of Italy, and this is one of the best restaurants we've eaten at so far. Many thanks ♥️ to the family and team at Pizzeria "da Mario".

We enjoyed an excellent pizza, both the dough and the toppings were delicious! Recommended. We paid €36 per person, but we also ordered the famous Pizzo Tartufo.

We went to the supermarket nearby and came across this place during the day when it was closed, browsed the menu and decided to come back We ordered bruschetta, capricciosa pizza, cavatelli pasta with local sausage, 1/2lt red wine and 1lt sparkling water Family run restaurant, delicious fresh food, well priced and friendly service Highly recommend coming here

We're on holiday in Calabria, and after visiting Le Castella, we stop at Ristorante da Mario. Everything is excellent. There may not be a sea view, but what matters is that you ate well. Recommended.

03/09/2025: This is my must-try every time I'm in Savelli. The owner is friendly and always offers the best recommendations. The menu is typical of the Sila area, with a generous appetizer that changes daily and a variety of courses, catering for all tastes, from cured meats and cheeses to vegetables prepared in various ways. The first courses are delicious. The wine list is extensive, with many typical Calabrian wines. A must-try if you're in Savelli. Excellent prices, around €30 per person, including Pizzo truffles. Reservations are recommended. See you next time, Peppe.
