I had some exceptional pumpkin tortellacci with ragù. Located downtown in a pedestrian area, with tables outside under the portico or inside. The service was friendly and fast. I'll definitely be back.

Outing with friends. We wanted to try typical Ferrara dishes, and we were satisfied! Everything was truly delicious and authentic. The service was super fast and very friendly. Prices were reasonable for a central location with a view of the Castle. Portions were generous. Congratulations, they've maintained their authenticity without being derailed by the desire to attract even more tourists with more international menus or revisited traditional dishes. I recommend booking.

I give it a top rating because it's a laid-back place, despite its central location. The menu is short, with local specialties, and the service is informal but friendly. The quality is adequate, and the prices are fair. A worthwhile experience for those who don't like the over-the-top decor.

Everything was excellent!! Beautiful and historic setting! Fabulous cappellacci and everything else too! With fresh and tasty bread! Ferrarese specialties to try! Thank you. I had a great time and will be back!

A very touristy restaurant with a decent selection of traditional local dishes. The quality is good, and the service is usually quite fast. It's a shame that they no longer serve "pinzini" (a typical Ferrarese trattoria) to accompany the cold cuts. Prices have also gone up (like almost everywhere else).

After a visit of an exhibition at Palazzo dei Diamanti, we tried this very nice Ferrara hostaria, namely to taste the famous Salama da Sugo. Good menue, a variety of wines in carafes, very fair prices. We enjoyed !

Antica osteria, posto ideale per provare i piatti tipici della cucina ferrarese: tortelli, salama da sugo ma soprattutto il pasticcio ferrarese. Per me è stata una rivelazione, me ne sono innamorata!
