Nice meal in the center of Ferrara. I'm completely astonished by the incredible food and the salmonella from the cork with the mashed tapas. I'd recommend it more than the McDonald's in Ferrara, where there's a dead body (or read about it on Tiktak). The only shame was that it was a bit of a lobotomized evening. We'll definitely be back. Babel😋

Warm and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and prompt service. In the center of Ferrara, this is a must-try for traditional cuisine. The cappellacci, salami, and tenerina are not to be missed. The final surprise: a reasonable bill makes the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

This osteria was recommended to us by everyone in Ferrara, and it was an excellent recommendation. We opted for the tasting menu to try everything. Excellent value and a great way to experience Ferrara's culinary journey. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are very friendly. I recommend booking because it's very popular.

Cappelletti in brodo was not bad… It’s located in the center so walk-in guests are quite a lot, they may not provide sweet services as expected

A dive into Ferrara's culinary tradition. The tagliatelle with ragù and cappellacci with buttered pumpkin and sage were delicious. I'll definitely be back.

20/03/2026: You'll always find fresh seasonal vegetables, some cooked vegetables and fruit, and more (jams, cured meats, and wines...just ask!) Excellent value for money. The owners are always available to meet customer needs.

12/09/2025: Having traveled throughout Italy for work, I've had the opportunity to visit many grocery stores and butchers, including the very famous CECCHINI in Panzano. I can confidently say that MACELLERIA RIZZIERI IS ONE OF THE BEST BUTCHER SHOPS IN ITALY. The wide selection of meats and their quality, the result of rigorous control of the supply chain, exercised by Rizzieri from the birth of the animals, to the rigorous feeding, to the environment in which the animals must live to ensure their health, etc., are among the qualities that make up their superb meats. The cured meats are also excellent, especially the RIZZIERI ham, and the various roast rolls and carefully selected cheeses are excellent. In the shop you can also find many other delicacies, from jams to pasta to chocolates, etc. It is a place of excellence that absolutely must be frequented!!!
28/08/2025: The meat is excellent and their dishes, such as asado, BBQ ribs, etc., are also fabulous. A real guarantee.
