Typical traditional Bolognese tavern: warm and welcoming environment. Excellent and varied appetizers based on vegetables, bread and breadsticks served hot, we ate some amazing green tortelloni with gorgonzola and chopped pistachios, meatballs with parmesan cream, meat tartare, cantucci and vin santo. I recommend the carafe of Aperol spritz, iced, thirst-quenching, perfectly balanced. The owners are courteous, friendly, they entertain you with a few jokes in Bolognese dialect, what can I say, I will definitely be back!

EN: I highly recommend this restaurant. It has a great atmosphere, excellent food, and very good prices. This is my fourth time in Italy, and this was some of the best food I've had here, as well as some of the most fun I've had here.

This is my fourth time in Italy and I had one of the best meals I've had here. I also recommend asking for George when you get to the restaurant, and you're in for a great evening.

After wandering around Bologna for about an hour without proper reservations we stumbled upon Hostaria San Vincenzi and managed to snag a table just as they were preparing to open. (Yes, we were dining on our very uncivilized American schedule). Giorgio was kind enough to recommend a bottle of Prosecco and he delivered a plate piled high with various meats and some of the best mix of fresh focaccia and other breads that I’ve had in Italy. This was the magnificent intro to an amazing primi de pasta course. I ordered a ragu that was freshly prepared that day. It was flavorful and delicious. But when I got a taste of the tortelloni in cheese cream (not to be confused with alfredo sauce) I am not exaggerating when I say that the explosion of flavors and textures in my mouth brought tears to my eyes. The second course of beef in tuna sauce was a bit quirky, but it actually worked incredibly well. We also had grilled veggies that were prepared to perfection. We ended this amazing meal with Amaro shots. I highly recommend this establishment with attentive service, a family friendly environment and very reasonable prices! Bravo!

Sono stato qui a cena con un amico per trovare uno vecchio amico che è uno dei soci del locale. L’ambiente è semplice informale, sembra di stare in famiglia. Ho mangiato degli squisiti ravioli verdi al gorgonzola e granella di pistacchio, e delle deliziose polpette al parmigiano, un buon Sangiovese, una po di tenerina al cioccolato con mascarpone, e 4 chiacchiere. La spesa per tutto questo è stata irrisoria. Unica problematica, il parcheggi.
