Not the best meal unfortunately, the ravioli with cheese, broccoli and anchovie sauce made my daughter feel sick. The service was really good and friendly, I think we just made a bad choice on the food.

Valentine's Day dinner Before ordering I asked if the burrata ravioli could be made without anchovies (I'm a vegetarian) and they said yes. They arrived and they had anchovies but it can happen, not wanting to have the dish remade (because we had already waited some time) I changed places with my partner who had ordered the cacio e pepe. We had two appetizers and two first courses, the dishes I must say are good and mistakes can happen, coming from a family of restaurateurs I know what it means... But the thing that left me stunned was seeing that the owner (I think) after preparing the eggnog at a table cleaned the whisks of the mixer in the glacette of a table that had just left, first removing the bottle of wine, and then heading to another table to whip up another eggnog. I understand the time constraints, but if you really have to do it, at least do it where everyone can't see you Last thing, it would be correct to write on the menu the €9 that is added for bread-water-covered food Honestly prices too high for what is offered (2 starters, 2 first courses and 2 glasses of wine €85)

Today, on a Sunday evening, I was looking for a restaurant to eat "real" Carbonara alla Roma" (in the Parioli district). The recommendation of the Hoxton Hotel was a hit. Having made a reservation via Google for 7:30 p.m. (relatively early for a Sunday evening in Rome), I was warmly greeted in the small, fine Hosteria Po and seated at one of the tables in the back area of ​​the restaurant. Little by little, only Italian guests joined me around me, and a wonderful atmosphere was lively relaxed one arose. After a joking greeting in English, my host Vincenzo and I agreed for the evening (we had discarded Italian and Spanish, German was not possible) and a fantastic evening began. In addition to Roman carbonara, I wanted to eat a typical Roman starter and had done some research in advance, which turned out to be unnecessary. Vincenzo's first suggestion was artichokes with parmitiano, which (according to my preliminary research) was a perfectly fitting seasonal recommendation. The wine recommendation was a Malvasia Puntinata from Lazio, which I wanted to compare with the Spanish and Greek variants I was familiar with. It also goes wonderfully with the artichokes and carbonara. The Carbonara was served (as a slight variation on the Carbonara alla Roma) with some cheese (Pecorino Romano Nero) and tasted beyond all my expectations. The condition was extremely courteous and attentive. The restaurant is suitable for solo travelers, small groups and families (some families with children present). An absolute recommendation if you are in the area.

We booked last Friday night and they still found us a place for 4 at 9pm, very welcoming. I think the ravioli with broccoli are one of the best first courses I have ever eaten. Very positive service, quality food and friendly staff. The waiter also gave some very nice advice to my friend who recently got into photography. We were late and left after closing without any pressure. They allowed us to split the bill and pay it separately. I reiterate my thanks for the courtesy of the staff and stated that the prices are congruent and correct.

The food was extraordinary. The only thing that is can complain about was the service. The waiters were nice but the restaurant wasn't too crowded to explain why our order took sooooo looong.

Succulente ! We are french People Who ate in Many Italian restaurant in France and in Paris, but this is by far our best italian restaurant ever ! We have been there two consecutive diner. We had grilled pecorino and grilled funghi for the starters then calmar, cooked perfectly with a pretty good lemon sauce and seabass with artichokes al dente, a first try for us really good. We were really hungry so we had each other a pasta dish in more of that, the carbonara, exelente, and the gnocchis really tasty. We had a delicious Zabaione with passito and a cannelo with red fruits realy great no too much sugar so really great. In the second diner we took parmagiano in fila realy tasty with a good sauce and a bagnole di baccala soft and nutritious. Then we ordered pasta with anchovy and ravioli with buratta and brocolini. Really tasty too. For the dessert we took a tiramisu, the best way served because the coffee is outside and you can pour the quantity you want and delicious by the way ! And of course with all of these great wine with good meal/wine choice (the White wine was a litlle bit to Cold for us but 2 min outside and its perfect) but very good ! Special mention to the nocciola luquor that I loved. Oh i forget to mention de awesome olive oil served as an apetiser with fresh foccacia. Thank you for every thing you made our Rome tour better. Great staff and owner. I had not understood what I ordered so I wasn’t thrilled with it. Owner noticed my lack of enthusiasm and insisted on making me something that I would like better. Amazing to care that much.

Excellent smoked mezze penne with bacon and courgette flowers, good carbonara, excellent chicken Cacciatore, anchovies a little too fried, they were tough

Esperienza unica. Personale cordiale e ben preparato. La cacio e pepe é unica I dolci paradisiaci Bisogno tornarci per forza

Posto molto carino e pulito. Camerieri molto friendly. Cantina dei vini ottima, abbiamo preso un calice di bianco ed un calice di rosso, tutti e due ottimi vini Due Antipasti uno con con carciofi crudi e Scaglie di parmigiano ed uno Con zucchine ambedue molto Buoni Peccato che il resto del Cibo che abbiamo preso non sia alla stessa altezza. Pasta alla carbonara secca e molto difficile da mangiare, si incollava sulla forchetta. Pollo con riso al Curry anche secco e poco gustoso , le verdure al vapore indicate nel piatto erano pressoché inesistenti. Lo abbiamo indicato al cameriere che si è’ scusato attribuendo la colpa alla cucina quando il ristorante è’ pieno , ma nn ha fatto altro. Molto carino perché sapendo che era una cena di compleanno ci ha portato una candelina su di un piccolo dolce. Non ci tornerei e mi dispiace molto .
