Very good food, the best seasoning we've had in Rome, reasonable prices, and the tiramisu was excellent. They gave us a complimentary cookie and espresso.

If you want to enjoy authentic carbonara and Roman-style trippa, I highly recommend this place! The trippa is made with Yangpyeong haejangguk intestines, like pasta. It's odorless, perfectly chewy, and delicious! You can order in English, and it's cheaper than other places. The tiramisu is surprisingly good, so I'll definitely try it next time I go.

A place that preserves Rome's roots, with family-style service, lovingly prepared meals, and exceptional service. You'll feel right at home at your grandparents' house. The prices are reasonable, and the wine is generously sized. I went two nights in a row.

Interessante locale in una zona semicentrale della Capitale, un po’ defilato dai principali flussi turistici ma comunque in un’area a grande movimento di gente. Accoglienza e cordialità tipicamente romanesche: la cucina va di pari passo con piatti semplici, tradizionali, ben cucinati e presentati. I prezzi sono molto corretti per essere nella Capitale e anche in relazione alle porzioni, non certo ristrette. Carino anche il locale, stile ‘grottino’ caratteristico. Io provo l’abbacchio (ottimo) a 14 euro e un contorno di cicoria in padella, molto buona. Con il coperto, un’acqua piccola e un caffè (tutti a 1,50 euro l’uno) spendo per secondo e contorno 23,50 euro. Attimo il pane che servono. Consigliato.

I went to this fantastic place because I had to go for an eye exam. When I entered, my family and I felt like we were at home. We had 2 matricianas, two carbonaras and some good slices of watermelon. Everything was delicious and spectacular... I thank everyone for making me feel very very good. From Roberto Contesimo and family from Salerno... THANK YOU SO MUCH AND KEEP GIVING THE BEST OF YOURSELF, AS YOU ALREADY DO

25/05/2025: I went for lunch, I found the tuna tartare and the amberjack tartare excellent, the fried cod with a special sauce truly exquisite, ditto for the fried anchovies accompanied by their mayonnaise. I had the tuna ingot, cooked perfectly, crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, while my companion tried the garlic and oil with pink shrimp tartare. Well, for the latter I have to say that we expected more reading the other reviews, in the sense that garlic, oil and chili pepper clearly prevailed over the flavor of the shrimp, making it therefore a good white pasta. The idea is good but I think that if you don't flavor the pasta with a sort of bisque the two flavors remain unconnected. Maybe this flavor is wanted this way, I don't know, I'm just saying my opinion on what I tasted and the flavor it left me with. I didn't try the tiramisu but they prepared it for me to take away, my companion ate it and said it was good. Overall a positive experience, very light fried food, fresh fish, and the potato chips were very welcome. We'll be back. Thanks

03/08/2025: An exhilarating experience, to say the least. The highest-quality ingredients and preparations, combined with the creativity, care, and passion of Chef Andrea, were exquisite. We thoroughly enjoyed every detail: the welcome with delicious focaccia and top-notch extra virgin olive oil; the menu with just the right number of options for each course; every dish was thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted, from the intriguing and humorous names to the appearance, presentation, and, above all, the unique flavor, sophisticated yet simple, with a perfect balance of notes and components. The kindness and expertise of the wait staff were top-notch. Among the dishes we ordered (and we'll be back to try the rest of the menu), the ceviche, tagliolini, and roasted octopus were top-notch, but the orecchiette "Wuthering Heights" were also absolutely noteworthy! In short, it's almost impossible to rank them! Thank you so much, you made it a truly special evening. Andrea personally assisted us with the presentation of some of the dishes, and it was a pleasure meeting him.
02/08/2025: Small restaurant with an open kitchen. Excellent food prepared with passion, discreet and impeccable service. Compliments to the chef!! An experience to be repeated as soon as possible.
