The Bologna area is increasingly becoming a hub for the myriad of young people attending the nearby La Sapienza University. There are few real restaurants left. Among these, the Gran Sasso restaurant deserves a special mention: a family-run restaurant offering a variety of dishes that follow Roman tradition and more. The kindness of the owners and the excellent value for money are further reasons to return to a place that's as pleasant as it was in the old days.

10/11/2025: I wasn't familiar with the place. Friends recommended it. I tried the pizza tour. Everything was very good, both the pizzas and the fried foods. Clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back.
02/11/2025: It was a delightful discovery close to home. Everything was truly delicious, from appetizers to dessert, with a wine worthy of the name. The staff was courteous and friendly, and the quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended!!!
