Calling it a restaurant is an understatement! It's also an excellent choice for a refreshing and delicious lunch break—not your average restaurant!

"Quick" lunch on a working Wednesday, with three appetizers, three first courses and three second courses to choose from. Appetizer (culatello) and first course (asparagus ravioli), water (large) and coffee €19.50 well spent. "Basket" with focaccia bread and breadsticks included. Too bad it's out of the area otherwise I'd like to go back for the à la carte menu

Amazing place, definitely try tagliata and tiramisu. Nice selection of wines . All staff are so kind. Definitely will be back. Love this place . Thank you 😊

Osteria al Torcol

11/08/2025: This wonderful Osteria is hidden in the heart of Sirmione's historic center, on a side street away from the hustle and bustle. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, yet never intrusive. They advise you on your choice of dishes, and the service is as high-quality as the food. The cover charge is €3, but it's entirely justified by the beautifully laid table and, most importantly, the bread basket (with breadsticks, two types of bread, and taralli) accompanied by excellent Garda extra virgin olive oil. The pike with polenta and the bigoli with sardines, raisins, and pine nuts are highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.
08/08/2025: Exquisite food, I recommend the cacio e pepe with 100% raw red shrimp!

20/08/2025: For the first time I tried a starred restaurant........ Beautiful experience
14/08/2025: We arrived with high expectations – based on previous reviews and the relatively new Michelin star. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food was good, but nothing special (the focus was on vegetarian dishes, unfortunately!). The desserts (especially the sorbet and chocolate cake), on the other hand, were disappointing. The service was okay, but we didn't feel particularly comfortable. The advice regarding wine was poor or nonexistent. We wouldn't go back and, in retrospect, regretted choosing the larger menu or paying so much money. What a shame!
